Did acting happen by chance?
Yes. My current serial Meri Awaaz ko Mil Gai Roshni where I play the character of Raj is not my first soap since before that I was playing the role of Arjun in Saarthi and have been working with B4U as a VJ prior to that.
What is your dream role?
There are many of them, but if you look at Bollywood , I'd love to play the role of ACP Rathod which Aamir Khan essayed in Sarfarosh as I am a very big fan of his.
Do you want to shift from television to films?
Yes definitely. I am waiting for the right opportunity to come. I'd like to do films which appeal to the younger audience.
What do you like about your character in Meri Awaaz Ko Mil Gai Roshni?
The character of Raj that I play in the serial is a very ambitious guy and that is what I like as I am also very ambitious.
What are the similarities and differences between the reel and real you?
There are more similarities than differences as I've already said . The reel me that is Raj and myself both are ambitious and both are in the same industry. As far as differences are concerned I think Raj feels defeated very easily and tends to give up but I don't, because I believe in fighting my way to reach where I want.
Which Hindi cinema actor has influenced you the most?
Aamir Khan.
