I really don't see the need for Ranbir to intervene like some protective bf. This is work. If you have disagreements with your boss, you don't call your spouse or bf over to yell at them.

Work and personal life is different. Ranbir did right by not interfering. If he did, he would be highly unprofessional. Everyone would say he takes his girlfriend's side blindly. Directors shout and actors and actress out of frustration all of the time. It is part of the package of being an actor/actress. Ranbir also has more responsibility being impartial since he is producing JJ.
