~*MIRROR..*~

You can burn with your rage,

You can wipe away smile-

You can lie,coerce

And force your way all the while..

You can always act-

To claim rewards that is not your..

You can close your eyes

To chose darkness over light-

You can leave the purity

To complete your flight..

But HOW do you

Lie to your MIRROR???

PROLOGUE:

"BEGINNING Of The END.."

You can clearly mark it with a line.The end or its beginning.You can always feel it in the air,in the fresh monsoon breeze that cools everything and everyone but you..

You can feel it in the drizzling rain that washes away all the dirt but not the ache within you.You can smell it the rain soaked fresh leaves and wet soil,that seems to mock you only.You can hear it in the whispering against the tree leaves,there jeering laughter at your sorry state..

And mostly you see it in the eyes of your loved ones..The pain,the betrayal they feel that tears your insides to shreds of torment,and leaves you gasping for breath..Yet you are helpless to do or say anything but stand still while their hatred changes to loathing.

You are free,yet bound in shackles..You love,yet you bear the hatred..You cry inside,and yet all you are left is with smile and laughter at your own sorry fate..You want to scream out in refusal,and still your throat is clogged and choked with unexplainable feelings..You are breathing normally,have a pulse rate and blood pressure,but yet you are nothing but dead from the inside.

That is when it starts..That is where it begins..That is when you step into the BEGINNING OF THE END..

And it does not start in one year..It does not start in one month either..Nor does it start in one day..It begins in ONE MOMENT..

One moment,and your world is upside down..And you just are a silent participant who is not given the choice too..One moment and it is the BEGINNING OF THE END..

One moment,and all you need is a pinch of blood red vermillion and you are tied forever..Your world overhauled and destroyed,and lying around you in helpless broken pieces..

A pinch of red vermillion was placed on her hair parting all of a sudden.So sudden that she closed her eyes,as drops of the reddish powder fell onto her nose at the act.

"Now she is mine!Now say SARAL!!!I dare you to ask what right I have on her?!!"An enraged Arjun Mehra screamed at a bleeding and stunned looking Saral looking back at him with loathing on his face.

"You have nothing to say now do you?!Well,but I have more for you!!!"Arjun grabbed her hand in his,as he pulled her towards the lit fire of the mandaap besides which a shocked looking pandit sat still staring up at them."Finish the wedding rituals Panditji!And make it fast!!!"

That made the stupefied and shocked man move..And in minutes it was all done..

The wedding rituals all completed they were married man and wife now.And as Arjun Mehra looked back at A furious looking Saral,she closed her eyes..And the tears started falling down her cheeks..The only proof of her feelings in an otherwise deathly pale face.

Seconds of silence was followed by a strong female hand pulling Arjun up,and then a resounding slap that echoed all around the temple.

SMACK!!!

"HOW COULD YOU ARJUN?!!HOW COULD YOU?!!!"The feminine voice screamed out,while in the next instant she was dragged up harshly to a standing position too.Long nails dug into her arms and she winced in pain,when she was pulled free from the grasp by a pair of male hands.

"Not her!It's not her fault!It's-.."

"SHUT UP ARJUN!!!SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!IT'S ALL HER FAULT!!!SHE DID THIS!!!"The voice screamed shrilly,and her hair was held and pulled at the nape tightly,nearly uprooting them,as she closed her eyes and let the pain fall through her tears.

Again she was set free,while the male figure stood infront of her in protection.

"I SAID LEAVE HER OUT OF THIS DI!!!STOP HURTING HER!!!!!!!IT:S NOT HER FAULT!!!DO YOU HEAR ME?!!!!STOP.HURTING.HER!!!!!"He shouted out in a rage filled voice shocking the woman to silence.

And then the woman came closer to him,and whispered only for his ears and hers as she stood just behind him.

"It's her fault Arjun!BELIEVE IT OR NOT!It's HER all the way!!!And you destroyed IT ALL just for HER!!!I won't forgive you!I won't!"She spilled out her venom just before she turned and left.

Arjun pulled her away from the mandaap along with him and out towards the staircase of the temple,as if holding her hand mechanically,as he saw Her leave-His di.

And then when she had driven off,he slowly he turned to face her,his eyes now burning with fury directed at her this time as he took in her wedded avatar.Pure loathing crossed his features,as he let her hand go and took a step back as if the mere touch of her burned him.

"It's your fault.."He whispered brokenly,and turned away from her.

Then she noticed them standing there infront of her too.Her friends from Bird Song..All of them..Including her..Who never gave up on her..And they had the same expression..They all were disgusted with her and loathed her..

And after looking at her for some more minutes with disgust,they all turned and left.

Fresh tears fell from her eyes,as simultaneously the sky broke open.And Radhika fell down onto her knees weeping in vain,as heavy rain dripped her completely wet..

Her sobs however had been completely lost in the sounds of rolling and rumbling thunder above,as were her heart's silent pleas to once caring hearts..And why not?It was after all the BEGINNING OF THE END only..The MIRROR never lies,and the loathing in their eyes was just a mirror effect of the loathing within her..And the MIRROR of course never lies..
