Ok I dnt have words to begin with !😆 that much fantabulous the movie was.🥳 I m literally astounded and probably teary eyed still with the after effects haha .Shabd kaam padhengey to describe this movie I swear!👍🏼 We fans go to watch Salman and but this is not only a 'Salman' movie, it is so much more. This is one movie which anyone will enjoy whether you are a salman fan or not and obviously it is a big time treat for his fans! Salman in the movie isnt the typical hero that he has been playing in his recent movies, he is naive and innocent. His 'masoomiyat' in the movie is as much as Harshali, infact he is the bigger kid haha
Harshali is a doll.❤️ She is a lil star already! If i was engrossed with Salman, I was just as much spellbound by that lil munchkin. She is the heart of the movie, she will make u cry with her, she will make u laugh with her and there wont be a single moment when u wont feel ur heart ache for her. She will win u over from the start itself with that part of shahida and her mom guaranteed.
Salman's entry comes with a bang with the selfie song and once u come to know Pavan Kumar Chaturvedi, u will only wish the world had more ppl like him. He is as naive and honest as it can get, that much so that even when the truth will get him in trouble, with lil munni shaking her tiny head beside him asking him not to say it out, he still does 😆 As he says bajrangi bali ke bhakt hai, maar jayenge par jhoot nahi kahengey. Basically Salman and Harshali together is an overload of cuteness!❤️
Coming to Bebo , once again she proves what a fine actress she is! She is a natural. Her role might not stretch all along the movie and is kinda like that of 3 idiot where its as influential and she leaves an impact. She is gorgeous as Rasika. If Pavan is naive, Rasika is the sensible and subtle one. Her chemistry with Salman is brilliant. They look really good together
Nawazuddin has played Chand Nawab perfectly. He is brilliant with his comic timing as much as the emotional scenes. He is a pure talent. He was hilarious when they took a ride from the pakistani police who was meant to look for them.🤣 Om Puri had a small role of a mawlana and I cant help but mention the burka scene. It was hilarious. When he drops of Pavan and Chand who were wearing the veil and then hugs Salman, bystanders were commenting ' humse ek sambhala nahi jata hai aur mawlana ji do do leke ghum rahe hai'🤣
The songs have been beautifully picturised. 'Tu chahiye' shows the evolving relationship of Pavan and Rasika in a sweet way. 'Tu jo mila' is based on two powerful scenes and Zindagi kuch toh bata captures the enigmatic beauty of kashmir along the journey of Pavan, Munni and Chand to Munni's village. Bhar do joli will have u in tears along with Salman while the chicken song is another cute song which will make u smile. Salman is like a kid in that one with his so adorable dancing haha
Salman shows what kinda actor he is in this film and what a phenomenal performance he has given.👏 He is lovely through out but i will mention some of the scenes which made me bawl my eyes out for him. One was when he leaves behind munni while munni was tugging at his hand to not leave and he founds her in the brothel. Those bloodshot eyes were enough to do all the talking for him! and thats the only action scene we get from him. I m trying not to disclose much but i cant help it. I m so overwhelmed right now 😆 There is another scene where the BSF are hitting him but on seeing munni in tears on seeing him in pain, he fakes a smile for her sake. It will touch ur heart.😔 The climax again is a winner. I dunno how to talk abt it without revealing too much but when Salman was shot, I had my heart in my throat literally and I dint want a depressing climax and i remember Salman once said how he wants the audiences to leave with a smile when they come out of the theatre and thats why his movies have a happy ending and i thank my lucky stars for it. I dont think I could have handled more tears running outta my eyes. It was already too emotional for me. To see Salman being beaten is probably the last thing I wanna see so I was so faint-hearted there and i was crying like a baby.😆 I have never cried over a movie this much ever 🤣But to make things better for me, I wasnt the only one. Everyone in the theatre was crying and laughing along with the characters - sth i have never witnessed before.😆
The movie was an emotional rollercoaster with the right tinge of humor and a social message to spread. It teaches us how to be a better person by not dividing ourselves through religion or by country. Pavan, a massive bajrangi bhakt, who initially feared any attachment to non veg food, muslim customs, rituals and mosques, thinking that its a sin for him, takes under his wing a lost muslim pakistani child and learns to accommodate with her needs, learns to overcome his own fears, changes his perception and ends up giving salam to the pakistanis who themselves were chanting his religious wordings while he was crossing the border. Another thing the movie highlighted is how innocent ppl who crosses the border are considered a spy from the other country and arrested and jailed without any proof. It showed how corrupt the system is that even with proper verification, they do nothing abt it.
It was simply a BEAUTIFUL movie and i can bet all my money that all of you will leave the theatres with tears in ur eyes and a smile tugging at ur lips. DO WATCH IT !
My Rating: 5/5 ( 5 stars seems less for it trust me )
P.S yesterday i was too excited to pen down my thoughts that i forgot to mention kabir 😆 Kabir is one of the finest directors we have and now after watching BB, he is on par with hirani for me.👏 What a way of story telling and giving out a message in the indo-pak, hindu-muslim issues without making it preachy or going OTT over the issues. He blended it all in the right mixture where u will learn sth from it dil se as the story goes on, without the movie throwing it on ur face.
btw Eid Mubarak everyone🤗 Make this Eid all the more enjoyable by going to the theatre near u and watch bajrangi bhaijaan 😆
