Take this is an absolutely incoherent post because I honestly don't know what I'm about to write here. No I don't know. Why, how, what is their secret that I'm left so wordless and craving for more every time these two do their little eye-game, "I know you better than you know yourself" looks and then suddenly these moments just come where they just want to hand themselves over to each other because they know all this squabbling, arguing and pretend fighting isn't going to get them anywhere. Because they'll walk here and there and everywhere and just come back to each other to express that I need you just as much as you need me. Absolutely no idea how they do it, but they do it bloody amazingly and we're all left going whaaat was that.
So this is a random rant. I apologise in advance because when I see these two gift-wrapping each other in all the love in the world, I lose my mind and ability to think and then my emotions just take over. But I'll try here.
My love for my baby Taylor is immensely growing day by day here. The stuttering, the helpless, scrunched up face she makes when she knows she'll be caught by her boy sooner or later is absolutely outstanding. To sell a character who can't lie but is going against her ideals to lie for her love anyway, it just takes a lot of finisse and this girl puts everything into it. I adore her for the kind of devotion and admiration she carries for this show and her character. Truly commendable.
Progressing on though. The opening scene had me appreciating for various reasons. The face-off between Arya and Nandini is being dealt with some quite interesting substance. Nandini is being shown so aware of her surroundings especially since it concerns Manik. She hasn't bought any of Arya's doubtful words. She knew he wasn't the man to trust here because his favourite pass-time is to lurk around Harshad. But she gives him the benefit of doubt because she wants to take him into confidence that she is the sole person who can help him out here. We know from MaNan's equation that trust is a two-way show. You simply can't invest your trust in someone if you feel they aren't trustworthy. Same way she has her reasons why she can't trust Aryaman. And by all means Arya has his respective reasons why he doesn't want to trust Nandini. Out of which the primary reason is she's in love with Manik so undoubtedly she will always favor and support him. He has another reason, he doesn't consider Harshad to be faithful either. And since he's around a person who's rather unfaithful in his own ways, Arya's caught up in his own cobweb too. But he's a good listener. He wants to listen to what people have to say to him maybe because he's so desperate for someone to just show him some light at the end of the tunnel. He wants to trust people too, but just doesn't know who to because everything just all seems too muddled up for him. Harshad's and Nandini's stories aren't matching up and it's driving him crazy. No, I'm not trying to take his side. I still dislike him and his irrational and absurd ways. But the story for me at least is shaping up nicely. It's pacing well too. Next week he'll go to some efforts of digging up MaNan's story...all the hows, whens, whats and wheres. There's plenty out there that can change his perception. He just needs to stop being obsessively distracted with his tracking device and actually open his eyes to the clues around him.
That beeping sound is annoying.
No actually. Unbearable now. Someone throw it away please.
Mukti...
Actually wait...she could have possibly just snatched that "device" from Arya's hand like she goes around snatching people's phone and it would've taken her somewhat closer to things. But too bad so sad.
What do I say about Manik and Nandini that we already don't know.
If she's attentive of her surrounding, good observation is his skill too. They make an ideal couple and moreover and ideal love-story because every sense of theirs claims to know it's own way of communication. Every moment has it's own charm, every word or gesture of expression holds it's own certified depth. She stutters, and her words are all disjointed, her eyes blinking in anxiety, her lips forming there bases to say the next word but she has to pause and think about what exactly to say to him. YET. His eyes just stare in her eyes. Like staring deep down into her soul where she's locked up this secret she is too determined of not exposing. And when she tries escaping from her gaze, he tilts her chin up so he can continue reading her again. That understanding is the kind of understanding that gets us falling heads over heel for them. And well she doesn't need him to say it to understand that the moment isn't far when she'll have to cough up what she's hiding, simply because her eyes have given away too much anyway. But what's the harm in trying right? Distractions save the way.
Was it cute or was it cute that she was whining because her arm was hurting and he picks her up as if she needs her leg plastered? 😆 Aaand again he knows she was playing a distract-manik-from-arya game. Gawd...that understanding! Precious! But he continues on to add his own touch because it's been a while since they've had some alone time and he's missed touching her and holding her too. 😆 Those kisses...Manik Manik Manik...tsk tsk tsk tsk tsk. All excuses to kiss his girl because they've been assumingly "fighting" all this time. 😆 And then we all melt into a pool of absolute awe as something which was only supposed to be a discussion of the pretentious and distracting act Nandini had just indulged herself in, actually transforms into a moment where they become distracted from the idea they are fighting.
A break. Exactly what their hassled minds need. Their promises are re-visited every day. The vows they've taken as they fell in love. He catches her...re-affirming that he will at every step of life in the coming time too. Can they get any more beautiful? I honestly don't know. He plucks aways the strands of hair that are blocking his view of admiring the innocent beauty the glow of her face holds. He likes to see those eyes twinkling with the trust and faith she has on his love, his hold. They see each other in the calm on one another's face. Bringing each other back home in the cozy bubble of their love when life's hassles tires them out. And so his hold is enough for her to want more. There's so much comfort, reflection of need and naturalness with the ways her hands slide down his chest. The essence of their touch allows them to explore the depths of their love. It's remarkable, it really is. But. "You know what you're starting here right". They're almost whispers...but the intensity of his eyes screams passion. It makes me marvel over the fact how well Samthaan tweaks the tone of his voice to add a whole new depth to scenes which require such quick and subtle transitions. Just. So. Perfect.
But she's exhausted and the need of him is at utmost demand right now. And so they bring each other home. Joining the foreheads together to revive each other from their internal dilemmas. Just letting their calm and love prevail over them. Letting their togetherness farewell all the other worries of the world. Some alone time. In their heart-shaped bubble. Bliss
But picture abhi baaki hai and fight bhi 😆
Side-note: how come SPACE suddenly has so many Peons? Sack them all.
And well so his not-so-genius mother tries to distract her beyond-genius son from the embarrassing show she's planned for her future daughter-in-law. But I mean it was hardly meant to work because it's Malhotra. And he possesses a special sense to detect mother trouble.
His blood boils to witness the truth of the materialistic world that he's always seen his mother so selfishly be interested in. But what infuriated him more today was that she was the reason, Nandini stood there with lowered eyes. The girl who's never feared to raise a voice against wrong was humiliated to the extent of feeling not-so-worthy. He detests it all. Disapproves that the girl whose confidence, self-respect and self-esteem are her biggest weapons, had depreciating thoughts running in her mind because of some bunch of laughing lunatics his mother had pawned for this act. The girl who uplifts him for the perfect soul she sees within him, stood there belittling herself for something unworthy of being talked about. He wants her to look up, raise those eyes to look up at people in their eyes and know that she's perfect in every way. They've always made sure that they become each other's strengths. And today was his day. To hold her hand, not for the people but for her sense of spirit. To assure her that this world isn't worthy of her and hence it hardly matters if she feels a sense of desolation from it. To assure her that this isn't her world...their world. Her world is the world of their lifelong togetherness. It is the world of their hamesha. And he who is a part of this world of hers, believes her to be the most perfect person to be ever known. He will always be with her. Holding her hand. Refusing to let go even amidst fights. Because after all they only have each other in their world. And he seals it with the promise of his eyes and a nod of reassurance.
P.S. Fab 5 talking of the change in their thoughts...a good reflective scene highlighting the journey of their growth.
P.S.S. Let's keep the thread and forum positive please.
P.S.S.S. This got too long. #soznotsoz
