"Should I tell this to Rags.. No I can't. He is too impulsive.. first I need to know what the kidnapper wants... I need to ensure that Gauri aunty is safe.. I can't take risk... " Kalpi was tiptoeing in her room... Her mind was abuzz with the call she received around an hour back and she wasn't too sure whether she should share it with Rags or not... Her cell phone rang.. She received it without any delay and a feeble hello came out of her mouth..
"Arey.. Look like u were waiting for my call... Why won't u... After all u want ur mil to be safe... Ur mil.. no no!! Ur sister's mil.. Pakhi is ur sister isn't it??" Voice came from the other side followed by a laugh loud.
"What do u want??" Kalpi asked directly.
"Oops... So much anger!! I got scared!!" He replied in a childish tone.
"Why u kidnapped Gauri aunty... what do u want?? Why r u wasting time... Just tell me what u want" Kalpi almost screamed.
"Ohh... Baby is getting angry!! Calm down sweetheart!! I have some very simple demands..n remember I won't harm ur Gauri aunty until n unless u keep ur volume down!!So next time be polite and answer my questions...Now please apologize." He said.
Kalpi clenched her fist tightly to control her anger... She wanted to kill the caller but for now she knew that her one wrong step can lead to some dangerous consequences. "Ok... Look I am sorry. But now will u plz tell me what u want." She said in as calmer tone as possible.
"That's like a good baby!! First of all send Sammy out of the town for that Ahmedabad project!! I don't want him in town for next few days as he might be a trouble to me... N secondly... U have to... what's so hurry!! First send Sammy away than I will tell u my next condition... Till than have fun sweetheart... N don't share the kidnapping news with anyone.. Else ur Raghav will lose his beloved mother... n I know u can't see him in pain. After all u love him so much..."
"Look... Please leave Gauri aunty.. she is innocent... I will do whatever u want but please leave her." Kalpi pleaded.
"I will... Eventually. But First u need to follow my instructions. Do as I said..."
"Please... Plea..." The call got disconnected from the other side... Kalpi tried to call back but she can't coz of the private number... In anger she threw her phone away and sat back on the couch with tears in her eyes. "What should I do now... I should share it with Sammy... He might be of some help. But what if he harms aunty... I will tell Sammy to pretend as if he doesn't know anything. I need to go right now." She thought loudly, picked her handbag and stormed out of the door... Rags saw her running out of the room and called her but in tension she dint hear his voice... He followed her and caught her outside the house... Holding her arms he pulled her towards him, only to find her all sweaty and tensed..
"What happen Kalpi?? Is everything fine?? Is baba fine?? Where are you going this time?? And why r u looking so tense??" Raghav asked her in one breathe.
Kalpi who was unable to reply just pulled him closer and hugged him tightly.. He was surprised at her behavior but seeing her condition understood that she needs him.. He hugged her back while patting his head affectionately... His love and care soothed her a little... She calmed down.. "Leave Kalpi... It's neither the right place nor time.." Her mind told her but for some time she wanted to feel secure and hugged him more tightly...
"What's the matter Kalpi..." He asked sweetly on seeing the Kalpi calm and composed... His voice brought her back to reality.. She realized that she has to save Gauri...
"Raghav.. wo... actually... I just want to tell u... Wo aunty.. Ur mom... " She stammered...
"What Kalpi... I am not able to understand a word. It's okay honey... I am with u... Share it with me." Raghav asked while caressing her cheeks and assuring that he is there for her...
"Nothing Raghav... just business problem!! But u don't worry, I will sort it out... I am going to meet Sammy." She replied and moved from there as soon as possible... Rags was puzzled at her behavior... but dint follow her further thinking that he can ask Sammy about it.
While driving the car her phone rang... She picked it up
"Hello.."
"So madam... u dint took me seriously... Where do u want me to send ur Gauri aunty's body... I will kill her now. " Asked the kidnapper.
"No!! No!! Please.. don't!!" She screamed.
"Why?? Why shouldn't I?? U ditched me... I told u not to share it with anyone but you are going to tell this to ur new boyfriend... Well U were smarter when u dint tell it to Raghav but now u r about to commit some foolish mistake."
"Is he spying on me... How does he know everything about me..Is "She looked around but the road was empty... "No one is following me... Who is he??" She wondered.
"Madam... A single word to anyone and ur Gauri aunty will be dead!! N this time take this seriously." His voice broke her thoughts.
"Better... U call Sammy now and send him out of the town else u know the consequence..." He warned once again.
"Look you can't do anything to Gauri... I know u have some motive and Gauri is the only way u can blackmail me so u better stop fooling me and come to the point." she answered fearlessly.
"That's the Kalpana I like... the fearless and vicious one... But well... u r mistaken ... I don't need anyone to blackmail u... or to fulfill my so called motive... I know everything about u... Everything means everything... what u did in last 5 years... how u came back.. how u ditched Raghav... destroyed him... all ur plans... All I have to do is to tell everything to..."
"Raghav... Stop it!! He knows everything." She dint let the kidnapper complete his sentence... It was true that she was scared for Gauri but somewhere she knew that the man on call won't hurt Gauri till she fulfills his demand.
"Ohh... I said I know everything about u... So I know that Raghav.. Sammy and Prem knows about it but what about ur Aai baba?? Ur Aai is still so angry on u n ur baba.. he will feel so bad that his Kalpi has become so vicious. Anyways... Let's forget this. Right now let's concentrate on MRs. Gauri Singhania and his life. If u want her safe than just call Sammy and this is my last warning call... It hurts to warn u again and again. So next time u won't get any warning call but Mrs. Singhania's dead body... "
"Ok fine... I will do as u wish!!"
"Ok.. So now call Sammy... book his tickets to Ahemdabad... and do not forget to give me the pnr number. So that I can make sure that he boarded the flight. Have a nice time baby!! Will call u tomorrow and remember... My eyes are always on you...Well my ears are on you too... LOL!!" He ended the call with his annoying laugh.
Kalpi wondered how he knows everything about her and who it can be... She returned to Singhania mansion and ran to her room, called Sammy and requested him to leave next day and she will book his tickets... Sammy found it weird and tried to argue but she persuaded him and he agreed.
She lied on her couch and closed her eyes but her mind was abuzz with the thoughts of kidnapper... His voice was bit familiar...
Beep beep
Her mobile rang... It was text from private number.
Good job. Wait for tomorrow and take off from the office.
"Just after my call to Sammy, he msged me... How is he keeping an eye on me... And why he said ear on me." She thought and closed her eyes again.

She was waiting for the kidnapper's call... Sammy's flight was at 6:30 am and it's already 7. Kidnapper had already called her once to take the pnr no. And now Sammy was suppose to be in air but kidnapper dint call her back. Finally her cell rang.
"Sorry darling... got little late. Actually went to airport to check on Sammy than called Airport to ask about the pnr number you gave me. Well... I had to ensure that u dint trick me... All this took little extra time but that won't be a problem for u my sweetheart!1 Now finally Sammy and Prem are gone so we can talk without any interruption."
"Just cut all your crap and tell me what u want from me" She asked directly. This time she had a different boldness in her tone.
"Oh oh... in one night u got so much confidence... Good!! I told u I like this Kalpana. Well... I am not as bad as u think... I am ur well wisher and want to see u settled in your life... I just want you to marry someone."
She was shocked to hear the demand... She was expecting something different from all kidnappings but not this for sure. On sensing her silence he proceeded.
"To be precise... I want u to marry Akash and that too tomorrow morning at Ganesh mandir which is on the way to pune. N u don't worry! I have already made all the arrangements. You just have to come there as bride."
"Why Akash??" She was dumbfounded and dint know what to say... She just wanted to know that why he selected Akash.
"Well... he is just lucky!! You know I used lottery system for ur bridegroom... Wrote names of all the eligible bachelors of ur office and asked ur Gauri aunty to select one... N Akash was the lucky one. Initially I was skeptical about his name as he already loves u and wanted to pick another chit but than my soft heart forced me to let it be. I just want you to marry him and live happily but not in Mumbai... Just after your marriage I want u to back to the same country u were living."
"Fine... I will. But I need some extra time. Can u give me one more day??" She requested.
"No baby... I can't take risk. U r too smart." He replied.
"But I want my aai to be there in my wedding. I just need little time to persuade her. She always wanted to see in bridal attire. Please."
"Ohh... ur emotional voice touched my heart... Sorry baby... I can't give u a day but few extra hours... Ur wedding will be at 7pm tomorrow at Ganesh Mandir."
"Fine. But whats the guarantee that u will leave Gauri aunty after that." She asked.
"U have no other choice than trusting me... But as soon as u will board ur flight to other country.. ur aunty will reach Singhania mansion. And ur Raghav will never get to know that she was kidnapped. As I have already scared her that I might kill Raghav if he comes to know about this kidnapping. Neways now we will talk on ur wedding day i.e. tomorrow. Have a great time sweetheart and remember my eyes and ears are always on u."
