It's the little things, as always, that get me. Like the way Arnav and Khushi slowly stepped back into sleeping next to each other, and the intimacy that comes with it.

But I mean the subtler moments, like her running her hands through Arnav's hair while he sleeps next to her and when they're watching the movie. These little gestures of intimacy are so poignant. The way he tells Anjali his Khushi is happy, Khushi steals his beer and then he steals it back, the way he tells her so candidly that she looks beautiful, wraps his arm around her waist and the sincerity in those words- just the small, little moment where you see how much he loves her, and it almost feels like you're intruding on their little moment- that's how beautifully vivid it is for the reader. And their kiss, the physical intimacy that's coming back step by step. It's just those quiet moments that you show how they've slowly started becoming a unit again. These are the moments that show how their marriage is progressing, and make us realize how far we've come since that first chapter.

The quotation you picked was so apt for this chapter. There's this constant shift between them, where they each have their vulnerable moments. It was Arnav today, and you see how Khushi becomes his strength. The moment where she cups his face is so beautiful, and then... when she just lets him know that she's there for him when he's standing alone. She just pulls him into her arms and tells him that it'll be okay, shows him that she's there for him whenever he needs it.

And you see what really brings them together now- it's the fact that they're there for each other, in a way they weren't before because they're letting each other be that support, be their strength when they don't have any. And that has made such a difference. It's a change from when his mother died, when he pushed her away- and from when Khushi tried to deal with losing their Pari on her own. They're a team now, and it's so evident. I know it'll be carried through to his father- because when he needs that strength, Khushi will give it to him, just like he will always give it to her when she can't find it in herself.

And the credit for portraying that so seamlessly goes to you. Despite *everything* you had going on this week, you somehow managed to deliver a phenomenal update. That takes dedication to what you do, which you most definitely have. You truly leave me speechless, Di- not with just your words, but with who you are. I admire you.

Love always,
Your Choti

Am ready for this sleepy tousle haired Arnav ❤️
**************

A pained sadness permeates this chapter. But it's also one that is reflective and is edged in hope. Arnav's certainty about wanting his Khushi with him, his desire about wanting to lean on her, to open up to her is what gives me hope. As he says to Anjali, "a genuinely smiling, happy Khushi" is what's most important to him.

Your heart goes out to this Arnav embroiled in a tumult of emotions. Having to come to terms with painful realities. Having to confront his deepest fears. He's at that difficult place between acceptance and moving on. But the one constant that's there for him is Khushi. Your epigraph perfectly encapsulates their journey. She's the one now being strong for him, and his readiness to embrace that strength is what gives hope for their future together.

I love the way you're showing Arnav and Anjali's relationship. The love, the care, the respect so wonderfully shown. A brother she adores and looks up to. A sister he loves to pieces and whose choices he respects.

As Choti said, it's the attention to detail that always stands out as does the undertones of love you show in their actions. The way she combs her hands through his hair, the way he just looks at her and says "you are beautiful". You just know he's not referring to the merely physical. It's the beauty inside and outside which is his Khushi for him. It's been wonderful seeing her evolve over the past few weeks into this more open smiling person. Someone she used to be.

Bella crying ... Oh my God! Arnav's reaction to that was just hair raising. You wrote that playing out like a movie in slow motion. Really really well done. In fact, this entire update, and the fact that you even updated with so much going on, is a testament to your commitment and determination. I, for one, totally faraq you ❤️

Res for my SS
-------

First of all, I am not sure I could apologize enough for this long a delay in un-resing. I am sorry... Life has been brutal and tumultuous, some bad and some not so bad. :) That was the reason why this is so late in coming.

What saw in this update was the loneliness in which Arnav has been operating for so long in his life. In this update you allow us your readers to take a glimpse at his demons and how he has been combating them all alone. Grief, when shared is halved. But in his case, he carried his alone and it is this revelation that binds Khushi to him. "I want to go home..." - this to me is what epitomizes what he wants/needs - a home to shed his weight, a home to feel safe to fall apart and mend. A home in his Khushi. ❤️

There were many things that I was drawn to, in this update... but for me this update was all about a closer look at their scars, their vulnerabilities, and specifically Arnav's this time.

They have mountains to climb - her decision to not try, his desire for children and an impending visit to her parents' place. Will their tenuous connection prevail?

What a heart rending tale you are weaving my dear friend! When I miss reading your update, I miss it... Do you know what I mean? ❤️

Thank you for sharing this beautiful story... between tears, heartbreaks and fights are these secrets pearls of hope you weave so effortlessly. I loved this one as always.

6200 words is not a joke...I know how hard it is to write such a long update and never evr at any point was this boring.
The small progressions in their relation and increase of comfort level with each other was very well expressed by you. 😃👏
The portrayal of Arnav's pain when Bella cried was simply breath taking and u can almost feel a slight pain in heart for him...
Too good,,,
I really want them to get together soon...But I know its a long journey and It will be very enjoying with u being the Captain 😆
Chipmunk Scene was really cute .😃

Jigs,

You spin this magic again and again with every update 👏. Thanks for updating even though you are super busy with work.

Kushi still doubtful if they can mend their marriage after returning to routine life but didn't give up to try. That is positive sign for things to progress in right direction.

Interaction between Sid-Arnav-Kushi is always heartwarming. Sid is always handful and mischievous just like his Zio. I felt like your description of entire trip to Santa Monica Pier is just like walking through carnival. to Love this bonding between Arnav and Anjali and their understanding for each other feelings and problems without words.

I think it is time for Arnav to talk to Kushi about his night mares and fears. Also Arnav should think of only him and Kushi vacation next week as he don't want to be in the company of his dad and ruin his sister and nephew happiness.

What a mixed of emotions you have penned. Finding solace from a snuggle, getting intimate by a tight squeeze, laughter by reviving childhood memories finding peace just by being next to the loved ones.

A wife finding peace and serene by waking up next to her husband, and snuggling in him arms. That being her place of serene. The little one added more emotion by voicing out his waiting for his Zia and Zio. I was so touched when he said, he waited for hundred hours for them. What a way to express his emotions. Each second waited for the loved ones seems ages...and when you said hundred hours, it's so naive and normal.

Arnav is so much affected by Khushi's confession. I wish he could talk to Khushi about how deeply he is affected by her confession, rather than bottling up. The gap between them are getting closer and closer and both are finding it impossible to resist the urge to be with one another all by themselves. How long can they resist the urge. Its testing their patience...

For me, Arnav's nightmare is much deeper than losing his Pari. Why do i get a feeling there is more to losing his Pari? Why do he find it difficult to voice it out, to his Khushi? His nightmare to me is related to his childhood, his mom and his Pari. Bella's crying is triggering the nightmare so it couldn't be linked only to their child. As, they never get the chance to hear her cry... I guess, a dark story is there to be revealed????

Relationship between Anjali and Arvan is giving, compromising and caring... This reminds me of my brother. I am old enough to take-care and support myself, yet my family, specially my brother finds it difficult to accept. For them I am still the baby, Always spoiling me... Like Arnav... And I take full advantage of that...

Was there a specific reason for Arnav to chose his baby sisters favorite place? Was he trying to come to terms with Khushi's decision through others happiness?

Anjali seems very determined to help her brother, but he is trying his best to shield his emotions. If he is determined to shield-it, she will be more determined to find out the reason. And i think, End of the day, Arnav has to confide. Lets see, how you have plot it out.

Language maintained at different level suits and blends perfectly for the age, emotions and behavior of the character. Bravo. 👏I don't know how you do this. Sometimes i feel the the character while reading the deeper emotions..

Arnav-Khushi trying to find lone time sounds very exciting...and intimate, But, putting the Big Raizada into the picture doesn't look good...
Is Mr. Raizada going to put more salt on Arnav's scar? What is cooking in that smart brain of yours...?

You left us with a smile 😊 and a drop of tear😭

Eargerly wanting to know more about the big Raizada... And his baggage...
