Yes hon, u got it...he is a Punjabi Muslim from Pakistan...that sums it up...now whoever said this is a publicity stunt needs to have their head examined...and another thing...i noticed a lot of Amanat bashing in this forum lately too...I am Indian and am from the US...he is just a boy trying to make a name for himself in singing...for God's sake...give the kid a break...

I am really astonished to read this mail and surpised on the lack of your knowledge of geography. Do u know that Pakistani Punjab is two times bigger as compared to Indian Punjab. Around 60% of Pakistanis are Punjabis. It means every 2nd Pakistani is a punjabi and you are questionong Amanat's claim. He is from Faisalabad which is the 2nd biggest city of Punjab after Lahore.

You are truing to say he spoke Punjabi to get Punjabi vote.
If this is true than we are saying regionalism will decide the winner not singing talent.

Now some of you said Pakistani Punjab is twice larger than Indian Punjab, that is true but they can not vote in this contest so it has no meaning for this show
