TV show 'Jodha Akbar', featuring Paridhi Sharma and Rajat Tokas as the leading couple, will bid adieu in August second week. The once top-rated show, which was launched in June 2013, slipped down the ratings chart after the Salim-Anarkali track failed to recreate the Jodha-Akbar magic. "Every time the track moved away from Jodha-Akbar, the ratings would plummet and bounce back whenever we got the focus back on the lead couple. However, the story has run its course and those involved in the project feel that it will lose its flavour if dragged. The producer is planning a grand ending for it." New show 'Tashan-E-Ishq' is expected to take its slot.
