Part1
They start with Mukherjee asking Amaya about Mantu's whereabouts and Amaya tells him that she had tried calling him but he had not answered her calls and Mantu never did that before. Mukherjee decides to call Mantu himself. Even then Mantu does not pick up and Uma gives the phone to him. He tells her that he wont talk. She asks him to talk else he can lose his job. Mantu tells her that there is no dearth of jobs for him and for her sake he would lose the job too. Uma gets happy and tells him to leave for work now. Mantu asks what happened as a little while ago she did not want him to go anywhere. Uma tells him to go. Mantu receives Mukherjee's call and tells him that he was preoccupied in some work and was now on his way to work. Uma gives him his lunch box and he leaves. Uma's self thought - that if Mantu can leave his job for her what's a thing like Amaya. She is happy and says he only loves her.
At the English class the Manager and Rachita come and the Manager introduces her as the new teacher.. Rama is observing Rachita thru the window. R achita asks the students to introduce themselves to her. They all clap. She thanks them but explains that introducing one's self means to tell their name and the reason for learning English. In the students is Mrs. Dubey who asks Rachita if she remembered her - she and her sisters had come to her sons wedding. Rachita acknowledges her and smiles. Rachita explains that they would learn the language by making it their language. She makes eye contact with Rama who quickly moves away from there. Rama goes and takes admission to learn English. He is all smiles.
Mantu arrives at the office and Amaya inquires why he was late and he tells her that he had some work. He leaves telling her that he had a lot of pending work. Amaya thinks that she challenged Uma,but how to make sure that Mantu loved her or not. She thinks to let him complete his work first.
In the evening Amaya thinks that she should not have accepted the challenge. Mantu comes to her and informs that he was leaving. Amaya decides to test him and stops him on the pretext of being alone in the office and after much persuasion Mantu agrees to stay back with Amaya until she finishes her work. Amaya gets all happy and dreamy and Mantu asks her to complete her work fast as he was getting late. Amaya finshes her work and they leave together. At the entrance Mantu asks her to wait till he gets his bike. She says no thanks, she would take an auto. Mantu says was he stupid to wait for her then. They both leave on his bike and Dhere Dheere se plays...
Sneha is talking about the menu for next day when Kaushalya informs her about Sravan puja/vrat the next day. Sneha too thinks of keeping the fast to which the girls object as Sneha was diabetic. Rachita comes home and Sneha asks her about her job. Rachi tells her it is ok and Sneha asks to smile. Rachi agrees only if Sneha does not keep the fast. Amaya thinks to keep fast for her Mantu.
In the morning Sneha speaks to Rishi's picture and says that she is hiding here because of the girls, if he would have been alive he would have laughed at her. She tells that the girls have asked her not to fast as she is diabetic, but she wanted to fast for him for them as a couple. Sneha sneaks the plate back to the kitchen as does Amaya and they both try to fool each other.
Part 2:
Amaya goes to the shiv mandir and bears her heart out she says that God had always fulfilled her wishes, She says that she loved Mantu and will keep a fast for him. She prays that God will unite Mantu and her. As she is leaving the temple she gets face to face with Uma. Both are upset at seeing one and other. Uma too speaks of her love for Mantu and wishes that AMaya goes away from their lives and Mantu is hers only.
At the Chobey house the ladies are getting ready, they are going to the pooja after two years and Neeti tells her mom that even her friends are going Dimple thinks it a good opportunity to meet her friends. Pushpa is worried and Dimple asks her whether she was thinking about the Mathurs being at the pooja, Pushpa is concerned that nothing should go wrong this time.
Part3
Chiklu tells Mantu that Uma was fasting. Mantu tells him even he was fasting. He tells chiklu that he was leaving for work. Chiklu is shown engrossed in studies when Mantu tells him that study was important but even physical play was needed for proper growth. Promotion for the Pro kabaddi matches.
At the office Amaya is waiting for Mantu. She leaves to the canteen for her break. Amaya is about to eat just then Mantu comes there She asks him why he was late. Mantu tells her of Shravan pooja and his fast. Amaya realizes her mistake and she avoids eating the food.
Amaya goes back to work when the peon distributes sweets on becoming an uncle she is tempted but she pushes away the ladoo box and she thinks she will not become weak and will complete her fast for Mantu.
Precap:
Gajanand tells Rudra he wants to be away from Mathurs. When the Mathurs arrive Rudra makes them sit and they share an eyelock with Puspha . Rudra tells his mom that if his plan works, it will be big show down between Sneha and her dad.
