As far as I know there's no strict rule to a pregnant woman marrying the father of her child , in mutual agreement. Because communities may deem the child born out of wedlock. To prevent doubts in the childs mind in the future, at the very least.

But if a newly divorced woman wants to remarry, a 3 month waiting period is observed in case she is pregnant by her ex husband. This is about the child's legal rights.

thanks for your update, your last line says it all, i am so frustrated with this script, nonsense drama for no reason, when they are not even letting Sanam know the truth, Ahil is one idiot and Shaad. No words, speechless with this fake person, what the F@@@@why cannot he tell her the TRUTH that they are not a couple, she is married to Ahil I mean what the @@@@Anyway no point is banging our head, GK will do whatever she likes.. sadly Sahil are finished..Its too late, keep wondering why KV came back to this crap show.
