Chapter 22

"No," I forced myself to say, and her eyes welled up with tears again.

"Fine!" she said, "You don't have to."

Then she turned around and walked towards her desk, where her eyes landed on the bottle. She glanced back at me to see my reaction, but I stared blankly at her.

"Go ahead," I told her, deciding not to give her a reaction anymore.

She grabbed the bottle from the desk and opened it.

"Fine," she snapped and then put the bottle to her mouth before taking a long shot.

I walked up to her and grabbed it from her mouth.

"You fool," I said, narrowing my eyes. "Don't drink to hurt yourself."

She hiccuped and glared at me.

"Why do you care?" she asked.

"Screw it," I said to myself and then put the bottle to my lips and took a long shot too, feeling the alcohol burn my throat.

Sanyukta took the bottle from me and took another shot. Soon she started to stumble, losing her balance, and I knew it was enough for her. I took the bottle and downed more shots, wanting to get more drunk.

Finally, when I felt the buzz hit me, I put the bottle to the side. My phone beeped and I took it out.

"Wh - who is that?" Sanyukta slurred.

Ishika.

"Nobody important," I told her, as I opened Ishika's text.

She had written: babyyy where r u i'm waiting

I just ignored her and threw the phone to the side.

Then Sanyukta stumbled up to me and grabbed the collar of my shirt before falling backwards. I grabbed her waist to prevent her from falling, but I was losing my balance too - I was more than buzzed... I was drunk. She fell backwards onto her bed, pulling me down on top of her, our faces not far apart. In fact, one more inch, and our lips might even be touching.

"Randhir," she whispered, as her eyes closed.

She was beautiful. She was amazing. She was Sanyukta... she was my Sanyukta. A realization dawned upon me in my drunken state. It was that I cared about her a lot more than I cared about myself and I loved her more than I loved anyone else.

"I love you," I confessed to her sincerely, as my hands caressed her cheeks.

Finally u updated..

Was waiting eagerly...

So finally both got drunk...

Apne bhi hamra popat kar diya cvs ki tarah🤣😭

we expected a kiss aur kya mila...

Haan confession mila...🤣

Finally randhir confessed his feelings...

but again you'll make our popat like cvs..😭

sanyu ko kuch yaad hi nahi rahega...😭

But let's hope for best..

So Randhir finally realized that he love her and confessed his feelings.

lovely.

But as usual Sanyu could not remember anything when she gain her senses and Randhir has to face heartbreak.

Poor boy.

Chapter 23

She opened her eyes and then smiled - she tried to push me off her, and I rolled to the side, my back hitting the bed. Then she burst out laughing.

"You love me?" she asked, as if she couldn't believe her ears. "Yeah right! I am not gullible!"

I felt hurt when she said that about my love. I turned around to face her on the bed.

"I love you a lot," I told her sincerely.

Her expression changed to a serious one.

"How much?" she asked.

"A lot," I replied sincerely. "More than... more than..."

"More than the moon loves its light?" she asked me softly. "More than the sun loves its heat?"

"Huh?" I asked her, confused - I didn't know that she romanticized the universe like that.

"The sun loved the heat so much that it became the heat," she said, her eyes filling with tears. "The moon shines in the light that the stars and sun give it... the moon is nothing without them."

"Sanyukta... you're drunk," I mumbled. "What are you talking about?"

"Do you love me more than that or not?" she asked me, glaring at me.

"I do," I responded softly.

Then she smiled at me and touched my cheek.

"You do?" she whispered.

"I love you more than anything," I replied.

Then she edged closer to me and placed her head on my chest. I rubbed her body affectionately as my eyes closed. This felt so blissful.

"Sameer said that he loved me a lot too," Sanyukta whispered. "But for some reason, the way he told me doesn't sound like the way you say it."

"It's because I mean it," I told her.

"Randhir, please kiss me," she whispered. "I just want to forget the world with you... I want to be in your arms. I feel things when I'm around you... I feel good."

She took her head off my chest and then looked at me innocently - that one look was enough to send me in a frenzy. I lay her down on the bed and kissed her forehead.

"Are - are you sure?" I managed to ask.

I was more drunk than I thought I would be. Perhaps the most drunk I had been this year.

"Yes," she whispered. "Please Randhir... please help me forget the world. Please show me your love."

Then I closed the distance between our lips and kissed her softly. She moaned against my lips immediately, as if she had been craving this, and maybe at a subconscious level, she had been. It had been months since my lips had touched hers, her body surely hadn't forgotten my touch, even if her mind had.

Her hands slid up my back, into my hair as she responded to my kiss, sending waves of desire up my spine.

"I want to give you everything I can," she murmured against my lips, "I don't know why but... but I feel so good... I just want to."

"Everything?" I whispered against her lips.

"Yes," she breathed out. "Everything."

I wasn't thinking straight anymore. I was getting more drunk by the second, and she was already drunk out of her mind. I didn't know what happened, or how it happened, all I knew was that it happened.

Sanyukta and I made love that night.
