Ashish Sharma as Asoka. Vishal singh as Siamak and Rohit Purohit as Sushim. Don't care about Dhrupad. I think he will become negative after leap.

I would love Gurmeet Choudhary for Ashok. Don't know abt others. But Mohit Raina can make a good Sushim.

Ashoka is a multilayered character. You have to have an actor who has to look commanding authoritative yet sensitive. He has to be equally if not more versatile and expressive than Siddharth.
Aashish Sharma 'looks' very good as a king but his expressions leave much to be desired. He looks blank half the time as Chandragupta Maurya.

Shaheer will be good only for post-Kalinga Ashok. Not the warrior Ashok. He always looks ready to weep anytime.

As for Aham Sharma, he was so good as Karna that you can see only Karna in him. Hard to imagine another role. Also he lacks the fluidity that Siddharth has.

Hope we have a new actor who can equal Siddharth.

true... Siddharth has done an excellent portrayal of Ashoka that leaves a great image which only a versatile actor can replace. I could only possibly think of Gurmeet Choudhry as his portrayal of SriRam in Ramayan was awesome which also left a carved image.But.it still hope cvs find an actor who can keep up the image created by Siddharth.
