CHAPTER-5.

Wind and rain lashed at them,but still they
stood plastered to each other,as Arjun was
not ready to let her go as yet.He tasted her soft lips with leisure.To
him,she tasted heavenly.She was sweeter than anything,and he wanted to devour her
all night if that was possible.

 Arjun crushed her further against the car,his
hardened body pushing closely against hers making her shiver with the contact.The
only thing separating them was the thin layer of their clothing,and Arjun felt
even that was too much of an obstacle,as the kissed went on and on.

 Loud thunder rolled overhead,as his hot lips
tasted her sweetness that was mingled with the rain water,and when he slightly
nibbled at her soft already swollen bottom lip,her soft moan was like sweet
music to his ears.He moved his hands up her body,kneading her back
softly,making her lean more onto him,and loving the friction of their bodies
brushing against each other too.It was like nothing he had ever felt before.And
his hot tongue made entry into her sweet mouth,to explore more of her delicious
sweetness,his thighs tightened harder,and his heart was thundering louder than
the thunder overhead.

 He could not remember where he was,why he was
there,or what he had planned to do.All that seemed to matter was the soft slim
body of the girl plastered to him,whom he just could not stop kissing or
caressing.He knew he had a revenge to take,that-..

 Suddenly Arjun went still,and in a moment
moved his lips off hers.Breathing heavily he looked down at her closed eyes,flushed
face,and swollen lips.She was fighting for her breath too.

What the
hell was he doing?!!This had not been part of his plan at all!And Arjun Mehra always
worked according to his plans!This was not right!This was just not-..

 Without any further thought,he slowly pulled her
away from the door,and opening it gently pushed her inside.

"Get in..I'll drop you home now."He said in a strained and husky
voice,that sounded strange even to his own ears.

 No further words were exchanged on the way
to her home,or even after he dropped her at her home.

She was about to turn to thank him after she
had gotten down from the car,but Arjun just drove off without a word or look at
her.He just did not know what his reaction would be,if he stayed in her company
for one more second,so he just drove off.He had to rethink his plans again.The
plans his own stupid libido just upset a lot..



 Radhika stood furious and confused at the
brush off.

 What the hell did the guy think of
himself?!!He could grab her and kiss her as he wished and then leave her rudely
just as he pleased to?!!What was she?!!Some kind of brainless bimbo?!!

 Seething with fury she decided never to talk
to him again,or even think about him.And hence had a very restless night,as all
she could think about was him and the moments they shared,the memory of which
made her flush all over every time.



 "What is this ma???"The little boy looked at the locket with a
tiny compartment inside.It had some Sanskrit inscriptions on it on one side,and
the image of Lord Shiva n the other side.

"Listen Arjun..This
will protect you,even when I'm not there for you..Never part with this okay?"The bruised and battered woman told him urgently,as she looked behind
every time,looking behind her back,terrified of the prospect of the sudden arrival of the tyrant
himself.

"But ma..You will
always be there with me.I don't need this!"The child was handing
it back to her,when she urgently,tied it round his neck.

"No Arjun!Never part
with this!Promise me you will never part with this!Promise me!"She whispered urgently almost near to hysteria.

"I promise ma..But
why-.."

"Shshhh!Someone
is coming.Don't make a noise.Stay hidden here.Don't come out,until I say so."The terrified woman hid him under the blanket,as she covered his body
with hers.

The
footsteps passed away,but the child was left confused.The tyrant only beat
them..Where would she go?Why was she afraid?



Arjun stared down at the tiny locket
in his hand..The inscriptions were still clear on it,It was a protective chant.And
somehow her belief,or maybe this locket had protected him.And now it was
payback time.

 He drank his black coffee looking out at the
rising sun.It was time for vengeance to be played out.Time for the past to talk
and make its voice clear.

 Twenty years he had waited for this day..

 Time for the balls to be rolled.Time for
action.Too bad,the naive idiot girl had come on his way..Too bad she did not
know what was coming her way..Just too bad.



 Radhika hurried out of her car,tying her
wristwatch unmindfully,when her phone started ringing.She ran into the waiting
eleavtor and pressed her floor,as she dug out her phone from her bag.By the
time she found it hiding deep in a corner,it had stopped ringing.

 CLINK!

As the lift
door opened she checked the caller,and seeing it was her dad,she called him
back,nodding at employees who wished her a good morning.She headed for the
boardroom where she had an early morning meeting with some foreign clients and
she was afraid she was already half an hour late.She prayed to God,her
stupidity did not cost her company the deal,when her dad picked up the phone on
the other side.

"Hello?Dad?"

"Radhika dear,I forgot to tell you this,we have
a new CEO for our company,and from now on you will work under him,as he has
more experience to guide you.."

"New CEO?But dad,you-.."

"I am too old for handling these tensions
dear,so I appointed him.And he would do fantastically don't worry.And he is
even now handling today's meeting."

"Really?And who is he?"Radhika asked as she hurried towards
the boardroom.

She had just approached its door,when it opened
and the foreign clients got out shaking hands with their business manager Mr.
Nikhil,and smiling at Radhika who gave a shaky smile in return they left.

"Oh you already know him dear!"Her father sounded jubilant,and
Radhika did not know why she found something fishy about it all.

 Mr. Nikhil indicated her to enter,and mouthed quietly
to her that Sir was waiting.

Now that was interesting.Sir was already bossing people around..Who was this Sir?Now her curiosity was
getting the better of her.

"Really dad?Then who is he..?"

 Even as she asked the question Radhika entered
the boardroom with suddenly wooden legs,as the door closed shut behind her.She
was now alone with the new CEO in this boardroom.Why was she so wary about this
new turn of events.

 She saw the tall man standing with his back
to her in his dark business suit.And even before he turned,she already had a
niggling doubt who the new CEO was,by the tightening of her tense stomach
muscles,and something familiar in that stance.

"You are late Miss Radhika Mishra.."Said a very familiar deep,but curt
toned voice,when simultaneously her dad spoke up from the other side of the
phone.

"Oh you are gonna have a good time working with
him.It's Arjun Mehra.The guy you met that day-.."

"Dad I'll call you later."Radhika said in a tensed voice,as
she cut the line and put her phone away,when slowly he turned to face her.

 "You
are late Miss Radhika Mishra.That isn't a very good example to set for your
employees is it?"He said raising one eyebrow at her,that made her blood boil in anger.

 Without thinking of the consequence,or how
silly it would seem,she strode upto him,and gave him a hard push,her hand
holding onto his suit collar,as she stared daggers up at him.

"What the hell are you doing here?!"She hissed out.

"What do you think I'm doing here Miss Mishra?"He asked back in a soft dangerous
voice,as his eyes studied her angry eyes,and then moved lower to study her
lips.

 By the time he had looked back into her
eyes,her damn lips were tingling,and there was a slight mockery and heat in his
dark mysterious ones.

"You..You are doing this intentionally!"She seethed out,not knowing what to
say.

"Of course I am princess.."He whispered huskily,moving closer
to her lips,and making her stagger a bit.But his arm went round her waist in no
time to hold her balance and hold her steady on her feet."Of course I am.."

 Radhika did not know what to say to that,when
his eyes darkened as he looked down at her lips again..And the temperature in
the air conditioned boardroom was already rising fast.



this is calm and lovable...I liked it honestly actually u write in that way that it gets directly to my heart dear.waiting for next..

CHAPTER-6.

Time might have stood still,or it might have just sped away.But the couple standing alone in the boardroom,seemingly lost in each others' eyes,did not really seem to be aware of either the time or anything else around them.

Arjun held her gaze,not because he had planned to,but because he could not look away.There was a strange pull in those kohl rimmed brown eyes.An undeniable attraction that seemed to tug at his insides.The slightly masked anger,along with a bit of naivety and softness together with something more powerful.Something all knowing that seemed to be searching out for his blackened soul,made him all the more captivated.She could be no fairy tale princess,nor a goody goody nice girl,he was sure cause nothing called good really existed.He had seen that whatever good that was,was actually always nothing but farce.So he tried to look deeper into those eyes,looking for the slightest trace of deceit that he was confident was there.

But of course the chit had other plans obviously as she tried to move a bit,trying to set herself free probably.And Arjun held her tighter now.Plastering her soft body closer to himself.A jolt passed through his body tightening his thigh muscles in reaction,making him grit his teeth,trying to stay calm.

Damn!It felt so good when he held her this close.Would be better,if she was closer though..Arjun could not help thinking as his eyes broke her gaze to study her soft full lips once again.

A fire was slowly simmering to life deep in the pit of his stomach,as he looked at the outline of the very lips he had tasted not long ago.Or was it an eternity ago..?Maybe he should taste them again..Just a little taste of those juicy lips to see if they really tasted as good as he had thought then..?

Arjun started lowering his head towards hers,just as he had the thought,pulling her closer and closer to himself.She had gone stiff in his arms,and he pulled her harder to himself,his hand massaging her neck muscles as he did so,trying to make her yield to him,no matter what..

As she tried in vain to set herself free from his grip,she brushed more onto hardened self,nearly making him groan out with the need that it grew within him. His heart was now thundering like anything,as hot unadulterated need made him yearn more for her extreme closeness.To add to that the friction created by her trying to be free was setting all his body parts on fire.A sweltering heat seemed to be drowning him in an abyss of Desire..Did the stupid girl even knew she was making things worse for her and him too..?

He was just about to claim those soft lips,when a sound just outside the door made him let go of her.

"Excuse me sir..Sorry for disturbing..But you have a phone call from our new client at your office.."A young man said with an apologetic smile,as Arjun stared daggers at him for the interruption.

He nodded his dismissal at him,as he turned to pin an angry looking Radhika with a hot seductive gaze.

"We are not done Discussing Miss Mishra.So please come to my room in half an hour.We will CONTINUE there.."He said with a subtle husky tinge in his voice,as he sent a hot look at her lips before looking up into her eyes again.Not really caring,or actually pretty amused at the rage he saw in them.

And in seconds he was out of the room.

Radhika stood still,fuming and hot all over trying to calm herself and her fast beating pulse.Slowly she sat down on a nearby chair,and closed her flushed face with her hands,and groaned out softly into the empty boardroom.

What the hell was happening to her?!!She was irked with him alright,but more than that,she was quite pissed with herself!How could she always be so close to losing her control when she was near him?!!

She could clearly see,he was not all he seemed to be.Or that he was really hiding something,but she just could not understand WHAT?!!It was one thing to fight your feelings or strange emotions by yourself,and another to fight the emotions another person kept evoking in you!A man you had only recently met too!How could just lose your control like that?!!

And to add to her torment,her dad had to appoint him as her scenior!And she could not even change that,not till she wanted to question her father's experience in this line of business.And she was just a fresh graduate!All she could do was follow orders,and try to gain experience fast!

But how was she going to fix this new enigma and problem called Arjun Mehra?!!!Radhika herself under her breath,and decided she had to find a way out of this and she would do too.Because Radhika never gave up,and-..

Radhika's face lighted up,as she remembered something.

Of course!!!I have my friends to help me out from this mess!!!

But on second thoughts,she decided she did not want to tell them everything as yet,not unless she got into more troubles.But for then she could take their help in keeping Arjun Mehra in check.She could always do group meetings!Radhika's eyes twinkled as she gave an impish grin,congratulating herself for her smartness,as she took out her phone.

Quickly she called at the number on her call list.

"Hello?Sam?Yes!Yaar I need your and Neil's help."

"Remember our Mathematics sir?No!He isn't here!But we have to handle another Bull!A tougher one this time!"

"Yes!Do come over!And by the way you are LATE!!!"Radhika kept the phone with a smile,as she disconnected the line,already feeling lighter.

Now Arjun Mehra won't even know what hit him!Radhika thought triumphantly her mind already planning out the next probable steps.

Half an hour later as Arjun waited for Radhika to come to his room,knowing clearly she would not be here,he studied the file in front of him without seeing a thing..His eyes glittering as he had the image of her in that white top stuck to her wet skin last night.

He had loved the way it nearly showed all of her soft skin underneath,and the pouring rain had done little to hide her slim figure from his hungry eyes.God!He had loved to watch and enjoy the view from his car,until that other car had came by.All his muscles had tautened with rage,as the car stopped by her.Even as he thought of it,his hands tightened in a death grip,crushing onto the key ring in his hand that he had been playing with.The metal dug into his skin,and a sharp edge cut his thumb,as drops of blood fell on the file.Dark red drops that were fast soaked by the brown cover of the file.

But Arjun did not notice.Pain was secondary to him..He needed to find those guys.They had dared to stare at her like that and dared to whistle at her.He did not let anyone go easily.And he would not stop this time too.

Suddenly he stood up,pulling himself away from his grim thoughts.

He needed to see her right then,though it was not as planned,but still he had to see her then.AS an afterthought he took the file from the table to use as the excuse to see her.An excuse for the world,he thought with a gleam in his eyes,as he strode out of the room making his way towards her cabin.

Radhika impatiently checked the wall clock..She could not believe none of them were here yet!And here she was already half done with her plan,and the rest half needed their help since she could not think anything further in her excitement.She was just deciding to give them a call again when her door started opening.

"Finally!!!You are here!!!"She exclaimed out,and without thinking she ran towards the opening door,and wrapped herself around the person,who had just entered,giving the person a tight hug.

THUD!

The door closed,and made her go still in the hugging position,as she realised she had just hugged someone much bigger in size than either Sam or Neil.

Her breathing quickened along with her heartbeat,as she could feel a familiar warmth spreading through her entire body.

In seconds she had moved herself away,and was about to put a good distance between her usual tormentor,when she was held back as he got hold of her hand.

And in the next second she was pinned against the wall of her cabin,her hands locked by his at her sides as he looked down at her with burning dark eyes,his nostrils flared as he breathed harshly.

"It's good to see you were waiting for me princess..And yes I'm finally here.And if I had known you are so eager to see me-.."He huskily whispered as he moved his chiseled lips closer to hers slightly parted ones,as she breathed heavily.His blazing eyes looked at her wide ones once,an then at her lips,making them tingle and then back into her eyes."If I had known you're so eager to see me..I would have never left you alone even for a second.."He finished in that deep husky voice.

And Radhika was trapped by the look in them once again.A shattered breath left her lips,which only seem to bring her closer to his warm ones..She could not look away or move even if she wanted to as his warm breath mingled with hers,melting her insides into a warm puddle of need.

The warmth within her was increasing to an unbearable heat.And to add to her torment,he was massaging the throbbing pulse of one wrist with his thumb,as he pushed his hard body closer and closer to her soft one.

"I-.."

Radhika could not even finish saying that it was not him she had been expecting,when his hot lips closed over hers.And like always her world burst with thousands colors of feelings that was not even possible for a rainbow to hold.The male lips moved over hers hungrily and with so much vigour that she literally felt her insides glow with the passion of it all.

And Radhika could not move away,nor deny the passion growing within her,as those sensual male lips kissed her with a clear intent of sweeping her away with the heated sensations,and she could just let herself be swept.

A sound of the door opening,made him leave her lips and look back with irritation.

"Uh..Sorry..I shouldn't have-.."Radhika could clearly hear Sam's surprised or more like shocked voice,and she could see she was leaving from the corner of his shoulder,as he still held her in the same position.

"Yes.You shouldn't have.Please leave!"He snapped out at her,and a further shocked and offended Sam just left and closed the door.

Radhika tried to stop her.To bring back her wayward senses,and call her friend back.But no sound came out.And her senses were not allowed to,as in seconds he had turned his back to the door again just before he again swooped down to kiss her already swollen ones.

And Radhika's world darkened with the storm of passion as those lips moved over hers feverishly and hungrily,taking all and giving no reprieve from the heated passion only he could ignite.
