IS AMIT A TRUE AMBASSADOR OF PEACE ?????

IN THE STATE OF MEGHALAYA/SHILLONG, ALL INDIAN CITIZENS OF NEPALI ORIGIN WHO ARE IN MINORITY ARE BEING BEATEN, HARASSED AND THREATENED CONTINOUSLY BY THE CHIEF MINISTER'S PARTY MEN AND WORKERS TO VOTE FOR AMIT. THERE ARE MORE THEN 3OO FREE TELEPHONE BOOTHS THAT ARE OPENED BY THE CHIEF MINISTER AT STATE EXPENSE & ARE BEING USED TO VOTE FOR HIM FREE OF COST BUT NEPALESE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO COME NEAR THESE BOOTHS. IS THIS TO BE CALLED PEACE AND HARMONY? WHERE HAS DEMOCRACY DISAPPEARED FROM THAT STAE THOUGH IT IS PART OF INDIA? I SAW DR. IN FRONT OF THE CHIEF MINISTER'S NAME AND THOUGHT IT STOOD FOR DOCTOR BUT SEEING HIS ACT AND HIS FACE IT MUST STAND FOR DRACULA INSTEAD OF DOCTOR. HIS PARTY MEN AND WORKERS HAVE THEARTENED THE MINORITY COMMUNITY TO TAKE AWAY THEIR JOBS AND EVEN CHASE THEM OUT OF THE STATE IF HE DOES NOT WIN. MR. DRACULA C. MINISTER IS THIS PEACE, HARMONY AND DEMOCRACY FOR YOU? TRY TO LEARN FROM WEST BENGAL AND ACT DECENTLY.

I don't think this is Amit's fault. He is not beating up anybody. As for regional voting, I was always against it. But nowdays, to win a competition you need regional votes, if not you can't win. It happened to Amey and Karunya last year; Emon, Puja, Deepali this year.

But you couldn't surely agree to the beating and harassing of the population no? I can't believe this can happen in this day and age. Man if this is case, let Amit win, I wouldn't want some helpless people in Meghalaya thrown out of their houses and livelihood. Let Amit win, winning this contest is not as important as people's lives.

No its not Amit's fault but it's fault of his fans. Remember Manchester United is criticized and fined if its fans create unacceptable troubles.

All these political parties have an agenda.... but it is the common people who are suffering. 🤢 This is all because of regional votes, I think they should ban this SMS system.

it is not the govt not most of the ppl of meghalaya... u cant condemn a whole state 4 wot sum ppl do...that wud b lyk crucifyin all hindus or muslims 4 incitin riots...(these r just a select few...)

n yes!!1 amit does deserve to b the brand ambassador of peace n harmony... he has managed to bridge the gap bet diff communities ... i know things were bad there... . so muzik has succeeded in gettin them 2gether... (a gud outcum is always gud... wotever the reason..)
dont negate the gud thishas done based on wot a few ppl r doin...

Agreed it's not Amit's fault. Some brainless people are using this to advance their agenda. I feel for Amit now.

Your comparison does not make sense. Amit is not to be blamed. Fans do crazy things- they build temples, commit suicide and can go to extremes. So this is nothing new. Even for Prashant, the police force who is supposed to be protecting the country is wasting time sending free SMS's. Now is that fair? I am against regional voting.

I find this article aimed towards defaming Amit then actually trying to bring out the issue. Amit is a great singer irrepective of whether he wins or not.

Condemning bad act is more needed than face shaving of Amit. I did not say it is Amit's fault, but it is happening for him. He can react how he feels on such a forceful act and probably that will prevent torturing innocent people. If his name is involved in destabilizing PEACE in his home town, how can he be a PEACE ENVOY?

a few ppl creatin dist does not negate the fact taht amits success in II has succeeded in bringin communities closer... there will always b ppl lyk this creatin trouble but u cant generalize n say his name is dist peace in the state...on the whole his presence in II has only done gud 4 the state of megahlaya
