The episode today was a well balanced one. If they continue this trend JA will be around for a long time. Nothing was OTT, very nice, natural with a good flow.
Things I liked:
1) Sanar scene: No, No!! Not because I like their romance or the actors or anything like that but just that no matter what we think of her, Anarkali comes across as a very sensible, mature girl. If circumstances were different she would have been an ideal wife for Salim.
She reminds Salim that he should wait before springing their love ishtory on poor unaware Maasa who has just come out of a harrowing experience and is still recovering. But nope, Salim being Salim, the immature, selfish Sheikhu does not want to have it any other way. So what if Maasa just underwent one of the worst experiences of her life, she has to snap out of it and deal with his problems.
2)The Vamp is back in full force!! What would we do without dear Ruks!! She certainly breaks the daily humdrum with her antics. Love to hate her!
3)Akbar with his courtiers interrogating Shahab-Uddin. His order for torture to get all the info out of the traitor. Nice! Wonder if Shahab reveals Murad's name?
4)JaJo scene: Very sweet as usual. Jodha teasing Akbar about "itni saari patniya" was adorable. No jealousy, just very matter of fact.
5)Maansingh-Rahim-Salim: Loved the typical boyish banter about marriage and love. I hope all the Navratnas get more screen space from now on. We need them!!
6)Jodha-Salim: Jodha teasing Salim about his marriage and Maanbai was very sweet . Her reaction to Salim's confession was again natural, nothing OTT or crazy. Pari and RB seem to have a good mother-son vibe going on inspite of their age.
That is one thing I have to say about this serial. The direction is so good and no matter how much the script sucks at times, most of the actors do a good job and do justice to their roles.
