Hey everyone!
Here we are again with the latest innovation for the section to help pick it up again!

This is the one thread where we can discuss anything else other than DSK!😉

This is the Talk of the Town thread.
How does it work?
Well simple.
Every Week, we talk about something different, be it entertainment-related, international issues, awareness, etc.

so the first Talk of the Town is the one thing all of us cannot live without: MUSIC

so to have a headstart, lets look at these questions and start discussing music!
dont be shy to quote other people's replies and discuss their answers with them!

How has music affected your life? I think that it has made it more colorfull.
What is your favorite type of music? (example: classical, pop, rock, rnb, ethnic, etc)All except Classical Sad songs...they just kill me!😆
What is your favorite song right now?Um..Soni de nakre from Partner, Jhoom Barbar Jhoom from JBJ, Tara Rum Pum from TRRP and Chak De! from CDI! I know u told me to pick one but I have loads so, named more then one. And I do have more though!😆
Do you listen to english music more or hindi music more?Hindi...I do listen to English but I prefer hindi and why? I am looking for that answer as well.😆
What comparison can you make between english and hindi music?Um...now, none as most of the hindi songs are having english in them but before, I would say the lyrics and music.
What was your first fav song ever?Um..don't ask me that again! I cant pick one! I have loads but to name one I would say JBJ even though I can't understand the lyrics!😆
How old were you when you started liking music?I think 7...yea 7 years. Long time eh?
If you were given the chance to meet a singer/music band, who would you meet and why?I would say, Sonu Nigam, I just love his voice.
Do you think music is losing its meaning in today's age?Well, ya, there is more music and mixed wordings rather then lyrics but I would say, music is music, nothing can beat it.
Who do you think makes the worst songs ever? which song do you feel disgusted with?😆For singing I would say Himesh Reshamiyya but he is OK too, I like his music and sometimes his singing.

How has music affected your life?

I love music and besides listening to music, singing is my hobby too.

What is your favorite type of music? (example: classical, pop, rock, rnb, ethnic, etc)

I love all kinds of songs.

What is your favorite song right now?

'Channa ve channa' from Raqeeb and most of the old songs.

Do you listen to english music more or hindi music more?

I listen to english and hindi both.

What comparison can you make between english and hindi music?

I like both so can't compare.

What was your first fav song ever?

'Rabba Rabba' from Monsoon wedding and songs from movie Murder.

How old were you when you started liking music?

I think since I started responding to sounds.

If you were given the chance to meet a singer/music band, who would you meet and why?

Celine Dion and Lata Mangeshkar. Both of them have very good voice.

Do you think music is losing its meaning in today's age?

Yes, I don 't like Rap in western music. But these days it's getting popular in hindi songs too. The quality of the lyrics is going away from music these days. Which is a shame for the music industry.

Who do you think makes the worst songs ever? which song do you feel disgusted with?

I think quality of a song depends on the lyrics. These days lyrics of many songs are not decent and sad thing is that these are the most popular songs these days. Some examples are, Bidi jalayle, Ghanpat etc. Sometimes I can't figure out what they are trying to say.
