Is Polygamy allowed in India?

I was wondering if polygamy is allowed for Hindus in India since Murli and Neha are getting married after one week while he is still married to Shyamili.

No poligamy in India. A divorce on mutual consent takes minimum of one year. But Neha is greedy and so Radha can take her for a ride. Neha was in the house when Radha came into the house saying it is mandatory for them to stay together for six months to get the divorce. I was surprised at the six months as it is normally a year. Anyway the point is Neha should be aware that divorce will not happen in 7 days.

That's why I was surprised as I remember Dharmendra and Hema Malini had to convert to Islam in order to get married as he was already married.

Going back to the show nothing is mentioned at all regarding the divorce. It's like Neha will be his second wife.

Yes, they did convert. I think they converted only to be able to get married but I don't think they practiced it after that.

Okay. May be if I am totally jobless I'll look it up. I am actually an accountant and my passion is numbers. Absolutely zero interest in actors and cricket. In fact I can't recognize most actors much to the frustration of my daughter. Seriously I do not approve of women going after married men and vice versa.

I enjoy alot watching some of earlier movies and knows most of the actors and actresses. 😉

even i am not into actors and all...i wtch movies which r good...
ya i do like tamil actor surya and telugu actor allu arjun...but thats because their passion towards film...but i dont follow...
serials happened during this preparatory phase...once i join PG i ll hardly get time for myself...

Maybe its all for the best that this one is ending now.
