Ahil-Which Literary Hero? - Page 2

I've only watched Mr. Darcy with Colin Firth. Whenever I see such a character in movies I think of him. It was like that with Aahil in the beginning. I do agree with Mandy on this.

But Mr.Rochester? Yes! I can see some similarities with Jallad Jinn! 😳 Both had dark pasts responsible for their hard exterior, but were vulnerable behind that facade.

Coz that is what Jannat needs to hear right now. The women is the end of frustration and totally irritating. Personally I can't wait for her to be cut down to size!

Months ago, I would have said, Aahil is a Mr Darcy type. But now even I choose Rhett Butler. He loved Scarlette more than his life but she did not appreciate his love. In the end he was fed up and walked away. Not that that suits the whole SAHIL story. But the "current" story? Yes! So I chose Rhett Butler.

What Aahil needs to do now is walk away from Jannat! Let her wake up on her own. There is nothing more he can do now, other than point blank telling her the truth. Frankly the way she acts, she probably won't believe him even WITH proof. Even though she was more than willing to believe Shad with NO proof and massive holes in his story! So what can Aahil do? Time to say "frankly my dear, I don't give a damn" Aahil!

Many of you chose Rhett Butler b/c of all Aahil is putting up from Jannat and want him to say that famous line or at least adopt that attitude, but I ended up choosing Edward Rochester . . . a man of many secrets and who has been destroyed by his past, who was also a womanizer. He was a strong, confident man that had a very sexy appeal. That man meets and reluctantly falls in love and then dives into loving the heroine wholeheartedly . . . and at the end is left a wreck by his secrets, but at least gets the heroine back.

Same goes for Aahil. His past . . . Tanveer's legacy in the form of his 2nd wife/half-sister are destroying him right now, as is Sanam's loss . . . so, aren't we at the wreck stage?

His love for Sanam has tied his hands, and the writers have made him the damsel in distress that is awaiting rescue, which seems to coming at the hands of Shaad 🤢.

I just hope that he gets his heroine soon.
