Hey Guys,
Did you all catch up on today's episode?
I am still finding it hard to accept that so much has been changed for the sake of fiction. I get that since it's a TV series a lot of aspects and facts will be fictionalized and given a writers' twist but shouldn't it b some resemblance to the the original thing?
Coming to the episode...I love Vishesh Bhansal...Loved him as the spoilt brat of Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kahan, loved him as Gautam of Buddha, Loved him as ASR junior of Iss Pyaar Ko, and young Zayed Zain Abdullah of Beintehaa...the kid is gifted and adorable as hell ...so basically apart from the fact that Sony was coming with Suryaputra Karna another fact that attracted me was Vishesh playing young Karna.
There are a lot of things that are fictionalized in the show and if I had to pick one from all shown so far it would be the Ice-Skating shown last night and repeated tonight. The camera work, the landscapes of Shrinagar and a young Karna racing his own father- EPIC!!!
Apart from that I am still waiting for the show to get into some mode of semblance. I watched Radha Ma giving step-mother treatment to Karna? Completely ignoring the young boy, not feeding him even after Adhirath's big brother tells the boys to go tell Radha it's an order from him.
My question is why? Everybody knows that Radha Ma loved Karna beyond words could ever describe, that Radha Ma is one of the rarest and iconic examples of selfless-true mother so why show something that does not even look or feel remotely close?
Did Karna really have to prove himself to Radha ? As far as I know NO...She loved him selflessly and he was always her son, her first son. I hope in the bid to fictionalize and dramatize and make the show more appealing the true facts are not twisted that altogether it changes the meaning of it all.
