Episode 53 : 30 June 2015

Ananya gets Baigan ka bharta for Anurag. Priyanka brings her over to Anurag and Kabir is flabbergasted. It was as if someone pulled the rug under his feet. Poor Kabir. Tum yahan is waqt' he managed to say. No sooner than he said that he corrected himself. Aap yahan Ms. Kashyap "...LOL

Ananya gingerly added that she brought baigan ka bharta.

Anurag's face lit up, Ananya gives him the bharta and he introduces himself. Brings a smile to Ananya's face and she gives her hand for a shake introducing herself. Anurag goes on to ask whether they work together to which Ananya nods a yes. Kabir seemed glad she came over and thoughtful too but did not show any of it...just stared across the table.

Anurag eats a spoonful and is happy, he liked the bharta and Ananya is happy he liked the bharta. Ms. Kashyap...thanks a lot goes Editor in Chief. A meek thank you in response from Ananya.

She plans to leave, Anurag is unwilling. He pulls Kabit up for forgetting something. All Kabir could do was stare. She says she will come back some other time and Anurag insists she stays for coffee. Anurag says he makes good coffee and Ananya is surprised. Embarrassed Kabeer butts in...I make the coffee at Anurag's request he goes on to tell her. Ananya did not miss the opportunity to take a dig. You do not do anything at a request she goes on to tell him, don't break that rule of yours, Sir.

As she walks away Anurag holds her and asks her to stay for coffee...he addressed her as Didi and that surprised me...

How many spoons of Sugar ? Kabeer

One : Ananya.

She decided to stay. A faint smile curled on his lips as he puts the baigan away and moves to the counter to make coffee, his eyes barely leaving her.

Ananya gets chatty with Anurag. Anurag wanted to know who she stays with, about her brother...about her mom ...

Ananya asks her what all he likes to eat and Anurag rolls out a long list. Kabir comes in with coffee and hold on ...did he brush her arm...handing over the coffee ???? He sits down...a tense moment both not knowing what to say. Anurag breaks the silence...cookies he says and kabeer chides him to complete dinner.

Well Anurag is smart...he asks then whether they work in office like this. Silent Silent...he says you both talk so much on TV and now looks like someone has pressed the mute button on the remote...LOL that was a smart one...Annaya chuckled...and Kabir bit away his...I must say app bahut smart ho...she tells Anurag and he is happy.

Kabir, you could have just enjoyed the moment ...no you had to spoil it...Thanks Ms. Kashyap...for the bharta...it is not written in your contract that you could bring baigan ka bharta for your editor in Chief...Guess what Ananya retorted before Kabir could finish his statement...

The Bharta was not for you, Sir. Oh Oh...it was for Anurag and yes its not in my contract so I have come after office hours, but if you are disturbed...I should leave.

Ananya leaves and Kabir looks on solemnly.

Serves you right for being rude. Anurag is not happy ...

The scene moves to later in the night Kabir trying to put Anurag to sleep. Anurag cannot sleep and wants to hear a story. Kabir finally succumbs to the pressure and starts a daku story in a jungle. Anurag wants to listen to a sweet love story. He starts again...there was once a handsome prince...Anurag asks like who ???? Kabir replied like you...he says no I am a small boy...should be like you...

Kabir continues...there was a beautiful girl who was kidnapped by a demon...Once again Anurag asks who was the girl like and he replies...Like Ananya...a sudden surge of happiness and he continues the story. Anurag got what he wanted and teased Kabir ..both have a nice laugh and Anurag goes off to sleep. Kahin aapko pyaar toh nahi ho gaya and Kabir is shocked. Kabir's face brightens, probably this is the first time he felt Ananya did something for him.

Next day at work...Nalini Varma is dishing out her shayaris to Richa and Sunny. Ananya stands looking at them for a long time and then she asks Nalini to check out the script for the interview...

Ronnie is checking out a file when Manav comes over and wants him to sign a letter. Ronnie reads the letter and beautifully wriggles out. He says his signature will not matter much. Manav asks him whether he was leaving KKN and Ronnie says could be a possibility but nothing is sure.

Ananya and Nalini review the script. Nalini asks Ananya whether she had read her novels. If you don't mind can I ask you something Ananys asks her. Why did you leave this country leaving everything behind.

Nalini says I have numerous answers to this question. But today I will speak the truth.

Nalini shares her love story, she was in love with a guy called Sekhar...and they decided to elope. She left home but Sekhar never turned up. She waited and waited and finally left her country never to return.

After a long struggle she started writing.

Ananya wanted to know whether she ever thought of meeting Sekhar. Nalini says No. She did receive a letter which said he did not have the guts...the gumption to leave everything, he was UNSURE.

Shoot such people I would say.
