...N I N E...
ll Pre - Ball Dilemma ll
"So it's an event full of rich bitches who will do nothing but gossip," Shay's rang through the speakers of my phone. I chuckle as I curl the ends of my hair.
"Basically, while their husbands throw money to so called charity that won't even help the charity organizations."
"That's so sad, they can just throw those money at us. I mean we need the money as much as those organizations do," Shay sighed.
"Yeah so you can go and buy makeup?" I rolled my eyes.
"Duh," she paused, "but one a serious note Lil, I'm broke and my mom clearly said she won't give me money for makeup anymore," she cried.
I gasp, "Oh my god, that's a serious problem! Should I call 911?"
"Please do so as soon as possible! It's a major crisis that needs to be solved."
We remain silent for couple seconds before breaking out into laughter.
"Bitch, you don't even put that much makeup then why are you so obsessed with it?" As I finish curling my hair I tie it up in a high ponytail so it wouldn't get on my face.
"Because..." she paused once again, "I like collecting makeup, it's an unhealthy obsession but I'll get over it... someday."
"Someday? More like never. Girl you'll make your husband poor by making him buy you makeup," I laugh, trying to do my makeup.
"It's sad how true that is," she chuckled. "I wonder what you're doing to make Satan poor," I bet that girl was smirking ear to ear.
"Nothing," I simply said.
I had no intentions of making Blake poor, I may leave him in exactly five months but that does not mean I will take his money as well. I am not that evil.
"You know I really feel for Blake, he has to go through your mood swings every day."
I stop and take the phone from my dresser, "Woah, woah there," I say. "My mood swings? Bitch please, it's ME who has to go through his daily mood swings," I make it clear. "Seriously Shay one minute he is a total arrogant asshole and another minute he is buying me an $800 dress. Like bipolar much?"
Shay was quite for a minute before saying, "Well that sums it up."
I felt like hitting myself and her with the curler. "Sums up what you idiot?" I snap.
"Hey! There's no need to snap at me," she said, "he cares for you, you idiot."
This bitch.
"You know I was just thinking of hitting myself and you with the curler but now I think I'll just hit you with it; mind you it's still hot," I am scary.
"Wh-hat? Why?" she stutters, "this is such an unfair world where you get hit with a hot curling iron because you speak the truth; unfair world I tell you," she fake sobs over the phone.
I roll my eyes, "Yeah, yeah get lost."
"Fine I will!" she hangs up.
I shake my head at my best friend's drama. And people say I'm dramatic, such blind idiots. A minute didn't even pass until I receive a text from her.
You better tell me everything that goes down in the ball bitch.
I smile looking down at the text, I have some weird and crazy people in my life. She was 1/3 of it; my parents and Blake summed up to 2/3 and the one who completed the fraction was my other best friend, Paromita Prajna Roy. She was my first ever "real" friend; Shay and I became friends' way after I met Paro but as we like to call her Froggy. It's a long story as to why her name became Froggy.
Leaving the past behind, I finally decide to get ready. I wear the dress Blake had just bought me but to my misfortune the zipper was stuck... again. The last time it was stuck was in the trial room, and now here. I don't know how I managed to get it fixed there but here I began to struggle. I couldn't even reach it properly now since it was all the way down.
Blake is going to kill me if I ruin this dress.
Just as I thought of Blake I heard a knock on my door. "What?" I spat.
"Hurry up, we're going to be late," he spat back.
"I'm trying," I really was.
"Trying? What the hell Lillian, how long does it take to wear a dress?"
"You said that line already!" I snapped.
"Does it look like I care?" he snapped back.
"I don't know. I can't even see your face right now."
"God dammit Lillian," he said opening the door.
I turned to face to him, he was right there before me. He stood still in his place just staring at me. Everything around us seemed light... and a bit creepy and weird.
Way to kill the mood Lil.
Mood? What mood? Shut up annoying-little-voice-inside-my-head.
"Umm Blake?" I break the silence that was growing between us.
He looked like he snapped out as he cleared his throat. "What's taking you so long?" he snapped instantly.
Well excuse me mister!
"Ummm..." I laugh nervously and a bit scared. "I think I broke the zipper... maybe... I don't know, I can't see it," I mutter looking down at my black heels.
I heard him sighing. "Turn around."
I looked up, "W-what?"
"Turn around."
"It's okay... I mean I have another-"
"Turn around Lillian!" he hissed.
I silently gulp, turning around and facing the damn mirror. I hated how much he scared and pissed me off. I could hear his footsteps getting closer to me. My hands held tight onto the dress unknowingly.
Within couple of seconds, I felt his soft fingers on my back. I almost jumped out of my skin at the touch.
"That's not the zipper Blake," I say as calm as possible.
I saw him roll his eyes through the mirror. "The zipper is stuck to the inner piece of the clothing."
"Oh..." my heart didn't settle for this. He was trying to un-stuck the zipper if that's even a word. But throughout this process out skin came into contact.
"How the hell do you get the zipper stuck to the clothing?" he muttered.
"I have my ways," which I didn't quite know of.
"Of course you do."
He finally got the zipper un-stuck and slowly pulled it up.
I couldn't help but stare at him through the mirror and frankly I didn't care if he even caught me.
"What?" he asked looking into the mirror.
"Nothing," I said.
He gave me a suspicious look, muttering an okay.
I smile, turning towards him. "Let's get the show on the road!"
Blake shook his head, "You really don't think before speaking do you?"
"Nope," I say smiling widely as I head out of the room with my phone and clutch.
"Not even a thank you?" I heard him yell out.
I chuckle, "NOPE!" I yell back. Why should I thank him? It was his job to help out his wife.
We get inside and car and I take the hair tie off, letting my hair out. As I fix my hair in the car, Blake drives us to the place where the organization was taking place in. I was quite excited to meet the rich bitches, as Shay claimed. Pretty sure they aren't as nearly as bitchy I am. Just kidding, I am a freaking sweetheart, unless your Blake, then I'm your worst nightmare.
"We're here," Blake's voice broke my train of thoughts yet again.
"That wasn't fast at all," my sarcasm was starting to take over me again.
He sighed, "Okay, ground rules." Oh yay. "1. No sarcasm in there. 2. We are a loving couple who loves each other," ew no. "3. You compliment every fake women in there. 4. If someone insults you, just walkway. 5.-"
"Wait! Why walkway? If someone says shit about me, I'm not going to stay quite!" I cut him.
"See that's why. You're going to create a scene and I don't want that because there will be paparazzi's."
"So public image?" he nods.
"Fine," I sigh.
"5. Don't drink anything that another guy gives you," why guy not girl? Am I not attractive enough for a girl?
"Why? This isn't any high school party..."
"Exactly it isn't, it's even worse. They are rich and they think it will work just fine," he said.
I don't know why, but him telling me all those gave another meaning that couldn't lay a finger on. I smile and nod.
"Don't worry, I got it."
"Yeah now I'm definitely worried..." I punch him lightly on his arm.
"Now who's being sarcastic?" I laugh and he joins me.
"Don't let me down Grayson," Blake said.
I smiled once again, "I am Aspen now, remember? And no way, Lillian Blake Aspen doesn't let anyone down." I was having my movie moment even before the paparazzi's got to me.
He rolled his eyes in return and got of the car, he opened the door for me.
Wow asshole being a gentleman, what a change. We should attend balls more often.
Just as I got off, flashes began to take over. I couldn't even look properly due to the flashes.
Damn paparazzi's already started taking pictures of Blake and me.
Blake gave me his hand and I held it like a loving wife would. And with that we began to walk inside a huge, fancy building with camera flashes going off on us. I felt like a celebrity, too bad I wasn't.
I was just your typical Lillian Grayson, who became Lillian Blake Aspen.

Author's Note:
I AM WRITING A NEW STORY. I KNOW, AMAZING. LOL READ THIS NOTE!
Hello, sorry guys, but this part sorta became longer than I expected and I
was so tired to write more. I have some planning's for the ball which I
am sure you guys will love. So next chapter will be dedicated to the
whole charity ball. I woke up early just to write an update today, but
wasted half of my time watching an anime, which gave me inspiration to
write a new story. A DIFFERENT NEW STORY.
I am thinking of posting it up, it's supernatural with powers. Kind of like
my friend Meryl's Spectrum because I love that story <3 But of course I
have my twists and craziness in it. As you know I can't write emotional
stuff, so obviously that story will be funny, with actions, and romance. If
any of you watch animes like Naruto, Fairy Tail, Soul Eater, Inuyasha,
you guys will love my story because it gives off that vibe.
It has to do with wizards but ofc not Harry Potter wizards different kind
because I'm not trying to copy J.K. Rowling. So now wands. Some of you
or most you know how much I try to make everything relate-able and
practical so that story will contain a lot or least some of that. Overall you
all will love it, once you give it a try! So please support me in that story!
You will love the main character, she's a bit like Lillian but in another
level of craziness.
THIS CRAPPY CHAPTER IS DEDICATED TO RIA (taarey_ria),
because she's an amazing girl and loves this story and I love her <3
