I agree. If Amit was in his gharana he would praise him to the skies but if not, God save the poor guy. But I think he would have got constructive crtiticism there. Here all the judges praise him blindly. I'm sure he does make techical mistakes like his maeeri song in the pop round and omkara but his faults are overlooked. How will the poor guy know where he is going wrong and improve more? I think Amit was in Saregama he would have become well trained by the end of the show and be ready to enter the recording studio. Now, he has to train for a few months. But having said all this, he is already the II.

If anyone sings well mostly he's like " you sang well, you must be in love, who's the girl" etc. Even gifted singers who start out well start losing focus. So it is a matter of luck, you may or may not land up in with a good gharana/mentor.

At least the II3 judges, let him chalk his own path. Amit has gone from strength to strength throughout the contest. many of his songs like Dil kya kare, Gustakh dil, Ye jo des were attempted in other reality shows. But Amit was way better than the rest.

Kal ho na ho in Amits voice would sound enchanting....

i agree with you about that, i heard gustakh dil on SVOI and switched the the other channel but in amit's voice it sounded so nice.

he is the best... ive started lykin a lot of songs after hearin them sung by amit...wot a voice.. can go on n on listenin to him singing...
if u feel the same vote n get him to the top... then v'll get 2 hear his album soon...

exactly.. I too prefer some of his renditions.. they sound so good..

Prashant's voice is way better than Amit specially in Mumbai concert. Prashant had rocked!!!!!!!!!!! Listen carefully to both of them and then you will see the qualities of thier voices....Among the both, Prashant is the best...........

Amit is good, but he doesn't have the versatility to survive on a show like that. Maybe once he starts training he will, but at the moment, I think Indian Idol was a better choice for him...

i totally agree...emon would do a good job in SRGMP though😃
