Also, Mangala loved Kamli as much as she loved Nimboli. It isn't like she had no one to shower her love upon.

Agee, she doesnt want nimboli to go away from her. It is because she loves her, not because she needs her. Mangala is never portrayed as a needy woman.

If anandi finally recognises that nimboli is her nandini, I dont think mangala will try to stop anandi from taking her. She will be rather happy for them.

Putting aside the fact that little girl is Anandi's daughter and just picturing her as some random orphan girl even then the girl deserves lot more than she is getting.Just imagine this as a story of an orphan girl and not the story of Anandi's daughter.

She gave her life and she is imparting her beliefs like it is okay to lie and cheat at times waiting for the right time etc. from her own limited knowledge of world and it's ways doesn't she ever think what will happen to that girl if she is not there?

The methods she uses have not taken her any where. She is happy to get Kundan out of that girl's life but what will she do if Kundan decides keep both wives? She knows what Kundan wants and knows that the boy is still after that girl even after it was decided that they will do second marriage.

My question is how long is going to continue with these methods which take her no where? Why is she not seeking help from outside?

I am also not considering nimboli as anandi's daughter.

Mangala never taught nimboli that its okay to lie. In fact she scolded her when she lied to the those women near the well.

She only said you have to speak the truth at right time and place.

Regarding outside help, the question is whose help? Will the sarpanch of the village support her?

They are all scared of akhiraj. He can kill a person in broad daylight in front of entire village, yet no one will come forward as a witness. He can bribe the police and shut their mouth.

The only outside person she has met so far who offered her help is anandi. This track will start soon. Till then we must say whatever mangala did is the best she could.

It is a fact that Mangala has been a guardian for Nimboli right from the time she saved her from being murdered. As for her limitations - had Nimboli been her own daughter - perhaps Mangala could not have done anything more than she is doing for Nimboli right now. Status and rights of women, especially widowed women living with in-laws is well known. Mangala does not has means to do more for that girl.
- She saved Nimboli's life and continues to look after her survival.
- Whenever Nimboli is in trouble, she tries to help her (within her limited means, cannot save her always).
- When Nimboli is sad, she tries to cheer her up.
- When Nimboli is injured, has illness - Mangala takes care.
- When she could not stop Akhera from locking Nimboli, she used the last weapon with her - to tell the truth to his family.
Where can we find fault with Mangala? So far, she has not come out as selfish woman. Only one incidence remained unexplained - when she hid the truth of Nimboli being balika vadhu in front of Anandi - we did not get to know why she did that. Was she scared of losing Nimboli or was she scared of authorities like police action (till that time she did not see Akheraj getting his ways with police also)? After all even Anandi and her own mother lied in front of police.

As regards telling lies - Mangala did not ask Nimboli to lie - what she did tell her is considered essential survival skill - to tell the truth when it is time. Don't we lesser mortals - educated city living people lie? We also resort to telling half-truth, hiding the truth or keeping mum if it helps us to tide over some unpleasant situation or to save our life. And all the characters of the serial have resorted to hiding truth/telling lies - then why only Mangala should be singled out?

Or is it because Mangala is like a parent for Nimboli so far and she may remember her even after reaching her real parent?

Very well articulated. Maybe Mangala does not want to lose Nimboli. On the other hand, she might not have told the truth about Nimboli to Anandi for a simple reason..

Anandi was talking about rescue of BVs. And yet Mangala has no way of knowing if A was genuine or not. As far as she was concerned, A was a perfect stranger. How would she know what her real intentions are?. How could she trust Nimbloi's life with someone she has met just once? What if SN was a brothel?

N is suffering under Akhiraj but Mangala is keeping a watch on her. Once N and M have left the only shelter they have known they might become even more vulnerable.

She doesn't have the means to assess the situation.Between staying at Ahiraj's and keeping a watch on Nimboli and venturing into the dark unknown, she might think the former was a better option.

Yes there's a real possibility that N might get very attached Mangala. The only way to solve this problem is to change Mangala's character and make her gray and grayer as has been done with other characters.

logic given by mannu is not totally wrong. even i said also that mannu pooja will marry because they will think without marrige they cant stay together.
yes they r getting married because they love each other so there balvivah is legally wrong but on humanity ground its not wrong.

till now both r supporting each other , if they will continue same feeling in future also then i think there marriage will become successful. i think this will be exception to balvivah , balvivah can be successful also. 😛😉. different message from bv.😛😉
