Feeling bad for sanskar. We don't know his past completely, so we can't judge him or his ex. Laksh promised DP to stay away from swara only coz he has guilt for ragini and thought swara will not accept him. He is not such a good boy to give more imp to family than his love. If he had any idea that swara also loves him he would also done same as sanskar did(even swara knows that, she herself said to her mother that he will leave his family for me). Coming to sanskar's gf may be she doesn't got any chance to prove herself like swara. If she is not good at respecting a family then sankar might not love her so much even after 5 years after her death.

Exactly my point...if laksh had known abt swaras feeling he wd have done the same as sanskar...if he was a guy who put his family above anything(like swara ) he wd have already been married to ragini(bs his family wanted that)...n abt sanskars gf, though we dnt know how she was ,she wd dfntly be a nice girl..otherwise sanskar woudnt have fell in love with her(bs he was a perfect guy in the past according to the story).
So I will agree with sanskar n say when it comes to his own child's happiness nothing else matters to DPM..

ya i agree laksh may've left everything for Swara but there are usually two factors to one elopement, a guy and a girl. swara would've never married laksh by separating him from his family, which Sanskaar's GF was totally cool with doing. DP didn't approve of the girl because according to his principles, any girl who is cool with elopement disregarding family, doesn't have the values his family lives by. its not a matter of good and bad girl. I'm sure she was a good girl, just not a good fit by DP's parameters. if nothing else, DP is a stickler for his principles, he's never shown favoritism for Laksh, he's been thus kicked out of his house multiple times.

Right now its hard to pass judgement since we dont know what really happened to Sanskaar but from the looks of things he is not lying about DP and Lakshya ruining his life!
