Yesterday's episode shown a kind of role reversal... With Ananya trying her best to be mature and Kabir's seemingly irrational behaviour, it was an interesting watch..
Let's first talk about Ananya,. This girl is determined to sort out the issues, both with Ronnie and Kabir, I liked her letter approach to Ronnie, Ronnie is certainly not in a mood to listen to her, and the letter was so genuinely written. Ronnie was right when he said he needs time & space, it would be unrealistic if he behaved just like the good pal he is, on the next day of his heartbreak, and his reaction during the meeting was a clear indication that he still can't accept Ananya's growing feelings for Kabir. Ananya approaching the lion at its den, again the best possible approach under the circumstances. But somethings are just not meant to be, and Ananya displayed the most professional approach (among the four) during the meeting. Her questions were so right on the target, she didn't let Kabir's silence deter her. And I am sure she is tolerating a lot because she knows she is at the wrong in her outburst of the previous day. But Kabir is pushing her hard, lest see when the volcano erupts ;)
Did anyone of you feel, Ananya seems less affected with Malvika's taunts & blatant display of intimacy with Kabir than the few seconds she noticed Kabir - Tarini and Tarini's visit to KKN? I felt she was looking more irritated than upset. Is it because Kabir's put up intimacy with Malvika look as fake to her as to us? I think, somewhere in her heart, she knows Malvika is not a threat, and Kabir acting out of anger. She is also sensing that Tarini & Kabir are sharing a warm relationship (the nature of it is a still mystery to her, and thats what bothers her) whereas Kabir- Malvika are only using each other. Isn't it not obvious to us?
Overall, I loved Ananya yesterday.. But I still don't think she understands the extent of hurt she inflicted on Kabir with her outburst, if she does, she will know the extent of his feelings too, isn't it? ;)
Coming to Kabir.. Oh Man, this guy is much too deep in it than I ever thought!! The moment he enters office, his eyes reach out to her, and what he sees, she looking longingly at another man. He is incensed, and if looks could kill, Ananya would have been dead at her desk ;). When it comes to Kabir, there is one side jealousy and another side hurt, anger, disappointment, caused by the woman he is falling for referring him as a womaniser. He became kind of self destructive with the jealousy (drinking, accident, etc). But he never judged Ananya because of his jealousy, and he never pushed her away. Probably he would have remained a friend to her even if he thought Ananaya & Ronnie are a couple. But with her outburst, she broke his heart, and the broken heart wants revenge, and he also wants to prove a point to her. She called him a womaniser, right, lets show how a womaniser behave, that's his mindset now.. I don't fault his thinking, guess in his shoes I would have behaved exactly the same way... But is he also trying to hurt her with his fake intimacy with Malvika? And if Ananya is in love with Ronnie, why Kabir having a relationship with anyone else would hurt her. Guess he isn't thinking about it rationally, or he thinks Ananya loves Ronnie, but she is attracted to himself. Kabir had always been a bit unprofessional with Ananya, he has high expectations on her, he wanted her to trust him even before they came close (in Mahi's case). When she didn't, he became not just cold, but unprofessional too, and history repeats again ;). He wants her blind trust and when she didn't give him that, he becomes cold and unprofessional. Honestly I didn't like the way he behaved in the meeting, it was not the in-control Editor-in-cheif I want to see. But it is very consistent with his past behaviour, and the way he watched her entering the room and sitting next to Ronnie, oops, yes, he is in too deep.
I only wish onething for Kabir, hope he doesn't give too much leeway to Malvika in his attempt to prove a point to Ananya.
One person who is having the time of the day.. Our dear Manav Bhai. :). Malvika, she is an insult to all professional women..
The surprise package is Khalid ;), he was more shocked with Kabir accepting Malvika's dinner invitation than even Ananya ;)
But why do I think (or may be hope) that the dinner party includes Khalid too, as Kabir promised to go with Khalid & Malvika for dinner on the day he came back from the hostage.
Precap makes us wait eagerly for 9:00pm, isn't it? ;)
