Injured Alia Bhatt goes on vacation with family

Mumbai: Alia Bhatt, who recently injured herself on the sets of her forthcoming film Kapoor & Sons' is currently taking a break from her busy life with her family. The actress is currently in Hyderabad vacationing with her family at the Taj Falaknuma Palace.

Alia was excited about her trip to Hyderbad and took to Twitter to express her happiness. She tweeted, "Hyderabad bound!! Family holiday after 15 years at the Falaknuma Palace!!! @MaheshNBhatt @shaheenb @Soni_Razdan injured solider on her way!!"

She even posted several pictures from her trip. The family was welcomed by the hotel with a customised menu and several other goodies.

A couple of days ago the actress was rushed to a hospital in Coimbatore, after experiencing severe shoulder pain.

Apparently, Alia was sitting in a posture which had transferred her body weight on her elbow. Something snapped and she felt an acute pain in her shoulder which did not subside. Alia who posted a picture with a sling, called up her parents before calling for medical aid.

She was advised to take rest for a couple of day, and will resume her shoot soon. Her co-stars Sidharth Malhotra and Rishi Kapoor are currently in Coonoor shooting for the film.
