There are 4 major characters in the show but the whole thing is divided into two teams > Team Radhika and Team Sam. What are we? Kids? 5 year olds? Or is it necessary to keep blaming each other for no serious issue.
The issues are like small moles but no we all like to make it as huge as a hill!
Now, if everyone has the right to express their views, so am I. Here's what I think about the show and its characters.
1. Monica Sehgal aka Radhika Mishra
Are you people sure that you know that its her first show? Are you? I don't think so, because comparing her to an experienced actor doesn't show that you even know that it is Monica's first serial.
Monica is a wonderful actress, she's doing justice to her character and her acting skills must be praised. Its her first time so there is much more to learn and I am sure that she will improve in future. Then why is she mocked because of her acting skills?
Radhika, the character she plays. No one can argue if I say that she had been called characterless, cheap, BF stealer, opportunist and blamed for trying to touch Arjun, stalking him, wanting Arjun and all. Is it not so?
I hate the title "small town girl". Why the hell we are judging a person on the basis of where she lives?? Radhika is meek, sweet and a wonderful person at heart. Though she is clumsy, tries to do right in every person's life but she is not dumb or naive.
Her dream was to get a job that she could relate herself to and that she got. But her priorities are different. For her, protecting her loved ones is more important than her job. Jobs are numerous but loved ones are rare.
For Radhika, Samaira is not only her best friend but also the person who gave her the directions to fulfil her dream. Had it not been Samaira and that add shoot, Radhika might have been still unaware if her true talent. So for Radhika, Samaira holds a very important place.
What do you people call her? The mahan Devi. Don't you? Just think that what if Sam and her mom after seeing the presentation that Radhika made, went away and never talked, the presentation would have been futile. But no they did talk and the problem was sorted out. So it wasn't Radhika's presentation, it was the moment where Sam and her mom really talked like sensible people and their misunderstanding was sorted out.
And then their is the title of "moongfali". It was Arjun who brought those peanuts first, wasn't he? So why isn't he called moongfali instead?
Oh and then comes the tag of being a jasoos. Seriously guys, would you nit try your hand at some detectiveness if you think that your best friend is being cheated. Then why the hell the new season of emotional atyachaar features stories where friends helped the said victim from the suspect by trying to do some jasoosi? No everyone is right but Radhika is wrong. Wow.
And the latest one, that Radhika is enjoying intimacy with Arjun! Shame on who says so, how could we say such things about a girl. This is our society where a girl is blamed for everything and we say we are modern. What intimacy haan? Radhika was crying for god sake! She was crying when Arjun cornered her in the lift!
And when he was trying to give her mouth to mouth respiration, she misunderstood his intentions and slapped him. Now is this called enjoying? My my!!
And the again, she was called dumb for apologising. She was doing so because this time she was at fault. Arjun was trying to save her but she misunderstood him and slapped him. This slap was for wrong purpose and that is why she was saying sorry.
And when the accident happened, I was thinking that now again she would be blamed for it. That she purposely did so because she wanted to make Arjun feel guilty or have him for herself.
And this us our modern thinking.
2. Kashmira Irani aka Samaira Khanna
From how many years she's been in telly industry? 8, that is EIGHT years. So do you think that it is justifiable to compare two actresses, one who got no experience and one who got experience of 8 years. This to me appears like comparing a new born baby to a 8 year old kid. Funny.
Kashmira is a talented actress, no doubt but there is no point comparing Monica with her.
Samaira aka Sam, the character she plays is of a cool girl who is ruled by her heart. But she I hear that she got so much pain to handle and all. And not to forget that she was also held responsible for her brother's death, it makes me sick.
Sam is so not responsible for her brother's death. It was plain accident. No one is to blame for it. No one!
People call her stupid because she let Arjun cone close to her easily. What the hell!! Arjun came in her life with mystery surrounding him, he said words to her that she needed to hear. That not only motivated her to face her problems but also his intriguing persona attracted her to him. Attraction doesn't need lifetime to develop, it just needs a simple sight.
Arjun trapped Sam in the web of sweet yet mysterious words. What is Sam's fault in this? She got the attention that she so much wanted and she chose to ignore a simple fact that Arjun's moves are like planned.
This happened because she was vulnerable at that time! And she is not stupid nor she's idiot!
And the things I got to read on the saree draping scene. My my..most of us our girls and we got so much high thinking about other girls! Arjun attracted Sam like fire attracts a moth. And believe me that kind of attraction is irresistible but dangerous as well.
Sam's only fault was that, that she ignored Arjun's dangerous side.
Then comes the break up scene. My god!! What she did was her decision. She realized that from day one Arjun had only joined the pieces of her heart only to somehow break it again. She heard both Arjun and Radhika and it was all her decision to break up! Radhika wasn't the reason behind it, Arjun's deeds were.
And because of this break up, not only Radhika was blamed but Sam was also termed as stupid. And the main culprit, Arjun wasn't blamed! Why?
Running away wasn't an option but she did and when Neil came, she got the support she needed.
The only thing that I can't handle is that her emotional state us being made a mocking issue!
She needs time, okay but she also needs to understand that her life can't stop because of a man! She needs to face the situation like she did with her mother and not runaway anymore!
3. Sharavan Reddy aka Neil Malhotra
Sharavan is a mind blowing actor. He needs no words to describe his acting skills. He's just too good.
What is he haan?? Just a support system? NO!!
Though people claim that Neil is their favourite but no one wants his happiness who is just with Sam!
The guy had been in love with Sam for years. He knew he did, his mom also knew about it but he is just expressing them now. And yet again Radhika was blamed for Neil suddenly realizing his love. The realization didn't. Came because of Radhika. It was always there, Radhika's words only made him express his love.
Neil had been a constant factor in Sam's life, his love for her is natural. And my god why people find it hard to accept his love for Sam. Rahul was okay if he loved his best friend Anjali, Jai was awesome when he found his love in Aditi but no only Neil is wrong. To hell with the people who thinks so.
Neil's love for Sam is true, the purest form. The guy literally worships her and fulfils her every wish. He is even ready to sacrifice his love for her and his love for Sam still isn't acceptable?
Neil is the best life partner Sam could have. He knows her inside out, bears her mood swings, loves her unconditionally and cares for her a lot.
He has been called devdas, majnu, joker and what not!!?? Damn! is it wrong to be sad when you see the girl whom you love so much, falling for another guy? Or is it wrong to try make his girl laugh when she is sad?
4. Aham Sharma aka Arjun Mehra
The guy who has done wrong the most and is blamed less.
Aham is a super cool and talented actor. He got 7 years to polish his skills after all.
Arjun, the character he plays is more complicated than one can think of.
An orphan who got love and care from Nandini, a parental figure whose life was destroyed by Sam's father. For 15 years that kid burned with revenge and transformed into a man who had nothing in him except hatred and desire of revenge.
Him wanting revenge is natural but trapping Sam is wrong! Sam had done nothing to him but still he finds peace in her pain.
Arjun had thought that he would come, trap Sam and take his revenge. It wasn't Radhika whom he thought about.
The way he behaved with Radhika from the start isn't justifiable but if placed at his spot, it might look right to him.
Radhika for him was the only thing that kept him from getting more close to Sam. Neil was same to him. But Radhika didn't backed off like Neil.
The scene where he lift Radhika thinking that I was Sam, I read today that her placing her hands on his shoulders was wrong. People if you are lifted suddenly life that wont you need any support!?
For every wrong he did to Radhika to get close to Sam, he wasn't blamed for. Instead of him, people started calling Radhika some bad names.
Why isn't Arjun blamed for his wrong deeds? Why do Sam and Radhika have to take the blame for his doings?
And in the recent episodes, we were shown bits of Arjun's true side. But instead of focusing on that, people were angry that it was Radhika who made him show his true self.
For Arjun, Radhika holds a different kind I place in his life. She reminds him of his happy past and precious moments. Her words hit him hard, make him think twice so the connection that he feels with Radhika is unavoidable.
Radhika made him smile and laugh genuinely, she made him cry too.
Arjun did manhandled her but he was trying to hide his weak self behind his harsh exterior. Today he called himself unlucky, that he is the reason behind everyone's unhappiness.
This guy is the most vulnerable character here. To hide his true self, protect himself from getting hurt and avoiding getting close to anyone, he shows himself as an evil guy.
His actions aren't right or justifiable but there us a reason behind that.
>> Manmarzian us a story of these four. Without anyone of these the story is nothing! The show needs viewers and not people who just judge it over various issues.
In our fan fights we forgot this one important thing, that all the characters are important and the most important thing is the serial. Without a serial these characters are nothing and without these character the whole show is nothing.
Could we not try to focus on the whole story than taking sides and blaming the other?
