Sakshi Mam is returning on Friction series on a Show titled Rani Mahal isnt this Translated version so vibrant .. Queen's Paradise ...
Basically it is adaptation of American TV series Game of thrones . If you have heard about it , its fantacy drama based on Frictional Royal characters with vivbrant costumes & spice of dragons .It was on premiered on 2011 & have on aired 4 seasons till now & 5th season is on pipeline. P.S American shows don't have generation leaps they launch another season with Same popular cast .. unlike indians ( vigorously thinking if BALH could have gone the same way, but its over. Okay lighten the mood comming again to topic..) That show is very popular & Have a huge fan base..
Like the TOI article said it is an unexplored genre but
thing is that a period drama on indian TV is something to worry about as show like DABH , BV etc can only be sooo popular , no doubt another KGGK would be accepted ... ok fine leave it ..
Comming to Upcoming show , it will have massive sets without doubt it has been claimed to be the most expensive show on indian Television so far.
But expections aside it won't be kitchen politics it will be Palace politics .. exploring genre Ms Tanwar ;)

Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii' fame Sakshi Tanwar, who currently seen in Colors' Code Red is all set to make her comeback to fiction with the upcoming period drama.Vikas Gupta's Lost Boy Productions is producing a show which is titled Rani Mahal', which will be aired on Sony Entertainment Television.According to our sources,"Rani Mahal is set in 1857 and is will be one the most expensive daily soap on the small screen. The show revolves around the politics the women of a palace indulge in and is inspired from popular American fantasy drama series,Game of Thrones."Sakshi Tanwar has been roped in to play the role of Mother of Dragons, Daenerys Targaryen. Where as, Anita Hassanandani, who is currently seen in Yeh HaiMohabbatein will be seen playing the role of Cersei Lannister.Parth Samthaan, who is currently seen in MTV show, Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan has been roped in for the role of Jon Snow.
