Don't bent the fact just for arguing here, Amit is a trained guy, little less than Emon but far a lot more than Prashant. Remember, he helped Ankita to correct her suur and made her sing well. Ask Pooja Chatterjee, another trained one, who wished Emon and Amit to be the winner, because she believed that only trained people could perform better than untrained ones. Amit is well-educated in music unlike Prashant.

amit didn't receive any formal training, but he was into music since childhood so he knows about sur and some of the technical stuff (hence the word 'self taught'). but he's definitely not trained...read his chat transcript and interviews where he has been asked this question.

Amit has such a magical voice that it is shocking to know that even though he is untrained he can sing so beautifully.

I am a huge Amit fan. His voice and his sur ki pehchaan speaks for himself. He should be the Indian Idol III.

As for Prashant, i have no comments

There are people who vote, and then there are people who "really" vote. i.e they vote till their fingers are numb.

The second category is what makes a contestant winner. 1 such person can beat 100 other normal voters and a millions more who never bother to vote.

I am in this third category and I can say I enjoyed both the singers. Both are winners for me as they worked hard to get where they are at.

The one with most votes will win the title, but the one with more talent will win in the end.

Compare Karunya with Sandeep and you will have your answer.
