Is Prashant getting sidelined?

I think Prashant's qualities as a singer are getting sidelined by Amit's overpowering talent.

I was a Prashant fan, but I am a bigger Amit fan now.

Prashant first got my attention with Ya ali. I was struck by the fact that he has great voice quality, sings v well given that he is totally untrained, sings with a lot of feeling, and has a great attitude.

Then Amit bowled everyone over with his nasha, and the rest is history.

I am sure there are others like me, so feel free to speak up one way or the other.

Anyway I am overjoyed to see both my favorites in the finals. Irrespective of the debates on who deserves versus who doesn't, these two do have great voice qualities across reality shows.

Quality? both are good, hard to compare. I like both of them.

Amit is slightly better in technical singing as he has been trained from childhood. He is very lucky to have his inspiring Grandma who wanted Amit to be a very successful singer and therefore supported training Amit. Amit can be good playback singer with his thick voice.

Prashant has little softer voice, needs some training to improve technical part but that is not a big deal. He has a gifted melodious voice, that would rock young generation in pop and even rap and hiphop. His voice quality should also match very well in dard bhare nagma style music.

However, I am not going to vote either of them in the finale because I have no reason to disbelieve the rumour that SONY HAS ALREADY FIXED AMIT TO BE THE WINNER.

get ur facts right...amit is as untrained as prashant... he is a self taught singer... inspite of lack of training he is just as gud as any of the other trained singers on II...
as 4 II being fixed 4 amit 😛 ....

Huh! self trained? how he could self train himself with all knowledge of suur and nodes of music? Don't bent the fact just for arguing here, Amit is a trained guy, little less than Emon but far a lot more than Prashant. Remember, he helped Ankita to correct her suur and made her sing well. Ask Pooja Chatterjee, another trained one, who wished Emon and Amit to be the winner, because she believed that only trained people could perform better than untrained ones. Amit is well-educated in music unlike Prashant.

please no one is bending facts, your making up facts to prove that amit is classicaly trained, he himself said his greatest weakness is that he is not trained, Some people who are born with a ear for music can self train them selfs. Amit has been singing in some bands and stuff that's it, just like prashant, just cos amit doesn't go around saying i'm untrained doesn't mean you can make up stuff about them. Amit even said in his chat that after idol is over one of the first things he wanted to do was get himself trained. i'm sick and tired of you guys trying to prove that prashant is better than amit cos he singing is not technically good as amit's just cos he's not trained, get your facts straight, both are untrianed. check the video of amit singing phoolo ki rang sai when he says he's not trained.

well,both are talented singers,like them both,but personally i prefer prashant to amit!!
