Before the industry was fine as Ranbir did not have much competition in the form of another industry kid.

Varun is a industry kid like Ranbir always with a safety net.

But he has given back to back hits. Very popular.

He has shown his acting talent in Badlapur

He can dance very good. ABCD2

I hope Ranbir becomes good friends with Abhishek so he can learn.

Ali and Jai are getting old and one needs to be replaced.

God willing.

Is this the end for the Kapoors?

I prefer seeing Biru on screen rather than Varun, any day.

However, I must give credit to Varun; because I don't think Ranbir could have pulled off a Badlapur ABCD2. Ranbir has become stale, he really needs to reinvent himself or else he will keep sinking further. His juniors are excelling above him so he needs to get his act together.

Better i don't know, but he's certainly giving Ranbir tough competition. And yeah i don't see Ranbir pulling off masala, tapori roles like Varun can, so he may be more versatile at least.

Varun can give a billion hits... it will never matter because Ranbir will always be more talented actor than him...

Have not seen many of Varun movies, and to be honest I do not follow his movies either. I just associate him with 'mindless' movies.

I make it a point to watch out for Ranbir' movies but recently I have been disappointed with his choices.

So who knows, he may still be more successful than Ranbir.

Both belong to bollywood; but I feel that Ranbir comes across as being more mature and intelligent than Varun -at least in the interviews

I like Varun but only after Ranbir and Ranveer. He is no freakin way better than them in any aspect.
