June 24 highlights

The episode starts with Kabir telling Radha not to talk but to see what he has set up. He show her the mandap and walks towards it. Radha is confused and says she does not know about a marriage scene in the movie and nobody told her that there was a change. Kabir says that the change was necessary and the shooting starts. As the shooting proceeds, LD compares it with their fake wedding. Radha does the rituals but her eyes are on LD. Kabir then reaches to put Sindoor on Radha's forehead and she stops him. She says they can avoid that scene but Kabir is insistant that it is a necessary part of the scene. He tries to appy the sindoor again and she stops him. Kabir gets angry and shouts at her and asks her, what is she worried about? The this set wedding will become like the play wedding which became a real wedding. Radha's father comes and Kabir says that good that he came, how can a daughter's wedding take place without the father. He calls for lights and the place is darkened and the fake wedding between Radha and LD is played on a screen. Radha, LD and Sudhakar are shocked and at the end Kabir is very angry. He says that he was romancing with a married woman and if the media had found out about it what would have happened. He said he got a doubt when he came to Mathura one day and asked the hotel receptionist to call Radha's room as she was not answering the phone and was told that she had not come for five days. He then saw LD dropping Radha and telling her to be quick in picking up the things. He then says that at the same time he got the video of the fake wedding and realised that they had all lied to him. He said he had investigated her background and found that the wedding had been registered and that they had now applied for divorce.

He talks about the contract for the five films. Sudhakar is angry and asks why she signed the contract for the five films without consulting him, and that she has tied herself up for 10-15 years. He says that like the outsiders, she thinks he is useless. Shivani interrupts and says Radha did not do this for herself. Radha tries to stop her from talking but she insists that it is not right to have half truths. Shevani says that she signed the contract for the five films out of her immense love for LD and to prevent his family from breaking up. She says Radha had promised LD's mother that she would not let the house to be sold and so she signed the 5 film contract and used the money to buy the house. She tells LD that Radha loves him so much otherwise why would someone gamble their everything for a house.

Kabir reminds Radha about the contract and tells her that as per the contract she cannot get married, have a relationship, conceive or have a baby until the five films are over. They are all shocked. He says that the divorce will come through in two weeks and by that time the off screen romance should be over. He says everybody cheated him. Radha says he was also a cheat. He introduced new clauses in the contract which was unethical. Kabir says he doesn't care. He is a business man and will protect his investment (I made this comment in one of the posts - we should have a copyright for our comments). He walks off, sees LD, makes a face at him and shoves him aside and leaves the place.

Radha's father is very angry with her and cuts off all relationship with her and tells her never to contact him again and leaves. Radha calls after him but he ignores her. LD grabs her and shakes her and asks her why she did all this. She leans against his chest and sobs. And he puts his arms around her.

Radha has said repeated that if the family is with you, you can do anything. So my guess is that the WHOLE Chaturvedi family is going to come up with some plan to get her out of this mess. Before that we have the neha-abhishek story, then the dada-chacha story to wrap up.
