Roshni is the CEO of Patel Industries. She is a total workaholic but has a very sweet and sensitive nature too. Siddharth is a man who does not believe in love. He is the CEO of Khurana Industries and right now the two companies are in for a merger. So, Siddharth and Roshni have met each other quite a few number of times now for meetings.
Tujhe tak tak tak takte rehna
Teri bak bak bak sunte rehna
One of the meetings is going on and Roshni is giving a presentation. Siddharth is gazing at her as she continuously speaks. He is in awe with her and cannot help himself but keep staring at her without listening to a word she was saying.
Kaam-kaaj sab bhool bhula ke
tere piche piche chalte rehna
The presentation is over and Roshni excuses herself to go to the washroom, Siddharth gets up from his place and follows her. As she reaches the washroom, she turns to look at him and raises her eyebrows asking him what he was doing there. His trance breaks and he stammers. He goes inside the men's loo and closes the door behind him.

He bangs his fists slightly on the door and leans his head on it. He closes his eyes and takes a deep breath.

He goes near the wash basin and splashes some water on his face; he looks at himself in the mirror. He tells himself that love is not worth his time and wipes his face. He leaves the room.

It's been more than a week now and he cannot shake her off from his mind. So at last he decides that he will try and pursue this relationship because anyhow he was wasting his time thinking about her.

So next day after their meeting he walks up to her cabin and asks her for lunch. She agrees immediately as she thought it was just lunch and not a date. He asks her to meet him at 1 p.m downstairs and leaves with a grin on his face. He was happy.

He rushes home to change his attire. He opens his cupboard and starts trying on clothes. After half an hour of struggle his entire bed was piled up with his clothes. He finally manages to select a perfect outfit for his first date. He looks at himself in the mirror and settles his hair. He sprays the perfume and takes his wallet and keys from the table.

Aaj samajh mein aa gaya bhaiya

When he starts his car he notices that it was already 1p.m. He drives in a rush to pick her up as he was late. He reaches the office and sees that she was not there yet. So he calls her up and asks where she was. She tells him that she will be there in another 15 minutes. He cuts the call and looks at himself in the side mirror tightening his tie around his collar.

He waits for her impatiently tapping his foot. He couldn't believe that he actually wasted so much of his time and energy just to have lunch. He looks at his watch again; it was way more than 15 minutes now. He bangs his head against the steering wheel.

Just then he sees her walking towards his car. She had changed her clothes too; she was wearing a black dress and was looking gorgeous. He couldn't take her eyes off her and his mouth fell wide open as she walked towards him. His eyes glittered with the admiration that he felt for her.
Ajab ghajab si uthal hai man maa
Kaisi hai ye feeling kaise batayein
Baithe baithe bina baat muskaayein
She sits down beside him and he greets her. She apologizes for being late and he tells her that she was looking pretty which made her blush crimson red. He starts the car, and while driving he stole glances at her whenever he got the chance. She was looking outside the window the entire time and her posture indicated that she too was nervous just like him.
Kya hai maajra kuch bhi samajh na aaye
Udne ka mann kare mann ki jor jor chillaye
Aaj samajh mein aa gaya bhaiya
Love is bhaste of time
When they enter the restaurant, her heels broke and she was about to fall. But he holds her in his arms and saves her. He could not describe the feelings in words which he felt when he held her by her waist and made her stand up. She mouths him a thank you and they are shown their seats. When the waiter addresses them as a couple, she corrects him and tells him that it was just a business lunch breaking his heart.

But he doesn't give up, as this would be just a small step towards the love that he felt for her. He was sure that she would feel the same for him someday. He too agrees with her and says that this was not a date but a business meeting. She takes out her files for discussing some points with him, but he stops her.

He tells her that the discussion could wait till after lunch and that he wants to know more about her. She gets confused with his actions, to clarify he tells her since they are going to be business partners soon so it would be better if they knew each other personally too. She nods a yes and starts talking about herself. He gets lost in her talks.
So, was he wasting his time on her or was it a
beginning of their love story. 😉
