Chapter 3

Iyer's House,

Toshiji was sitting in th hall along with Mr.Bhalla and Iyers, she was deeply in some thoughts.

Mr.Bhalla: What are you thinking?

She looked at him and said: Bhalla ji, I was thinking to keep a puja at our place for peace.

Mr. Bhalla: Yes why not!!

Mrs. Bhalla smiled and turned at Mrs. Iyer's side, she said: Madhvi you and your family are invited and take Ishita also. She will feel better.

Madhvi nodded okay & side hugged to Toshiji.

At night, Bhalla house.

At the dinning table, everyone having their dinner silently, Toshiji looked at Raman and said: Raman don't fix any meeting tomorrow in office.

He narrowed his eyes.

Mrs.Bhalla: Tomorrow I kept a puja here & you have to stay here.

Raman (rudely): But I can't stay at puja. I have work!!

Mrs. Bhalla: I am not saying you. You can say I am ordering you to stay here tomorrow at any cost. Infact I asked Mihir to change your schedule.

Raman fumed and left the dinning table.

Next morning...

Everyone were busy in decoration. Iyers family arrived, Ishita looked all over the house and remembered when she first came here with Ranveer. Her eyes filled with tears. Toshiji came and hugged her. Later the priest came and Bhalla's welcome him. The puja starts. Raman and Ishita both were there but both didn't bother to talk with each other.

Priest: Where is the Aarti thal Toshiji??

Toshiji looked at Ishita ans asked: Ishita puttar.. I kept the aarti thal in my room. Can you please take it?

Ishita nodded and went inside. The havan was running suddenly Raman's phone rings. He picked his call "Hello!!!" "I didnt hear anything. Wait a minute.." He spoke and went upstairs. After sometime he was coming down in the hall while checking his phone and suddenly he bumped with Ishita. She slipped and the Aarti thal which she was holding overturned in sky and the sindoor fall on her forehead. She was about to fall when Raman hold her by her waist. Everyone looked at them. Raman made her stand properly and looked at her forehead and fumed and went to upstairs. Toshiji came near her.

Ishita: Maa... I...

Mrs. Bhalla: It's okay Ishita.

Toshiji spoke and looked at her forehead. Ishita felt something and she touched and saw sindoor on her finger. She immediately took her dupatta to clean it. Then they attend the puja. After the puja Toshiji took Ishita in her room.

Ishita: Maa why did you take me here??

Mrs. Bhalla: Ishita.. Actually I.. I want to ask you something..

Ishita nodded her head.

Mrs.Bhalla: Ishita I don't know whatever I am thinking is right or wrong but I want to make you as my daughter-in-law as Raman's wife..

Ishita was shocked: Maa what are you saying?

She asked her shockingly. Toshiji took her near the mirror.Ishita saw herself and noticed there was some sindoor left on her forehead. She was trying to clear it with her palm but it didn't remove.

Mrs. Bhalla: Ishita.. Don't you think God signal you something?

Ishita (cried): No maa.. I can't even think about it. I can't give Ranveer's place to anyone.

Saying this was going to left but stopped when she heard: And if I tell you it's Ranveer's last wish then??

She turned at Toshiji's side with a shock and gave a question look.

Mrs. Bhalla (with a teary eyes): Yes Ishita!! Ranveer told this to Raman when he was taking his last breath.

Ishita sat on bed in disbelief & cried.: No.. No.. He can't do this.. He knew it very well that I can't love anyone except him.. Then how..

Toshiji came near her and caressed her hair: He want to see you happy. He want you to move on in your life. And today God also signalled you that Raman is your future.

Ishita (cried): No maa.. I can't..

Mrs. Bhalla: Don't you want to fulfill Ranveer's last wish?? I will not force you. You think about it once.

She spoke and left confuse Ishita behind.

At night

Ishita was in her room. She remembered whatever Toshiji told her. She picked Ranveer's photo and caressed his face: Why did you do this? You know how much I love you then..

She was sobbing when she heard a sound "Ishita!!" She looked up and saw Ranveer.

Ranveer: You know what time can heal every pain.. Ishita I can't see you like this.. I can't see you, spending your life alone. Ishita I am your past, we can't meet again. I know Raman is perfect for you.. He will keep you happy forever. Please Ishita move on in your life.. Please fulfill my wish.

Ishita closed her eyes and opened but there was no one. 'Please fulfill my wish!!' Ranveer's this sentence was echoeing in her ears and she wiped her tears and decided to move on but for Ranveer only.
