You know Raman overall is a good intentioned person...he has anger issues with a sharp tongue. It doesn't correct anything, but there are people like that who exist in the world, who are happily married.

I've seen such a couple in life, and they are successful in their relationship bc the spouse handles the anger once things cool off. They talk about what happened and the one with an anger issue works on holding their tongue.

The reason Raman seems like an extraordinarily hard person to live with is bc there is no debrief or follow up to the fights. Both Ishita & Raman appear to forget, which would never work in the real world.

For all his flaws - Raman is an family man who is passionate & will move heaven & hell for his loved ones. He has made his in-laws as his own family and works hard just for the happiness of others. He's by no means perfect, but he's not ill-intentioned.

But not everyone can live with such a person - it takes a special person to manage someone with a sharp tongue, and Ishita is coming into form as his "takrar ki Biwi" per the OLV.

So idk how if I could or could not live with such a person because I have never had that as an option. Just my two cents though!

Ok so this is personal but i would like to share...
I am 22 an m nt yet ready to get into the marriage business.. but u know how the society is..!!
So one of my mom's childhood friends who also happens to b her best friend has a son who is of my age and is studying to become a doctor happened to ask my mom whether she would like me to become her DIL.
Now my mom often visits this lady's house n knows how hot headed her son is. He doesn't like to mix up and is very hot tempered and harsh.
So my mom straight away told her friend my daughter is a chudail(witch). She will give tit for tat to your son. The marriage won't work n even our frienship will turn sour.
So NO THANKS.
So I am not Ishita. I can't take such harsh words.

I wouldn't mind, because not everything Raman does is his fault alone. Ishita is also blame-worthy and has made a ton of decisions that provoked Raman's hurt and anger. Ishita is not some faultless goddess that the CVs want to make her out to be, so it's unfair to say Raman is the bad husband here and Ishita is the purest, best wife.

I am not as mahaan as Ishita, in fact I'm nowhere near it! I wouldn't do something so stupid like bringing Shagun into my house (I'd have checked her into a hotel), giving away Raman's gifts to Shagun, making huge decisions without telling him, etc. There are so many things Ishita did on her part that really hurt Raman deeply, and I wouldn't have done those. Of course, I'd have made a ton of different mistakes 🤣 but not the stupid ones mahaan Ishita made. So I don't think Raman as a husband is a bad one. His personality comes out harsher because CVs made Ishita so mahaan, and it can be stressful to deal with a wife like her.
