Farhan was totally confused abt his target audience. In first half, it was so dry and boring.. it was for classes, in 2nd half it was for masses. Cant blv Javed papa actually wrote the script. It wud have better if HR's char was good at everything he does but cant decide what h wants to do in life. And then he finds his goal- Lakshya..
First that stpd wig and then transformation.. wasnt so convincing. LOC-Line of control with 100 stars flopped misrebly based on Kargil war, ppl had high hopes from FA-HR. First half killed it... 2nd was gem thou... Hr's mountain climbing and many other scenes were gems.
That stpd wig HR wore in Main aisa kyu hu and first half was Zoya's idea. PZ's bird nest hairstyle was her idea. Facepalm. They made a mess of a film in backdrop of Kargil war. FA took a hit with his ability as a director, HR did his best as director wanted him too.. PZ was good too.. 2nd half was awesome.. but first half.. meh.. yawnnn.
Not a single dialog worth provoking patriotism.. The movie is remembered for Mai aisa kyu hu and the mountain climbing scenes.. (the b/g music was amazing).
During this movie, Hr and FA verbally agreed to do remake od Don (bigB one) and HR also promised when Zoya set to direct a film, he will star in no matter what role. Even thou FA betrayed him for Don.. "" ooo i think i need a mature face so i going for srk" HR kept his part of bargain. He did ZNMD.. even thou he knew FA's char is meatiest and his voice will in narration, he did it. Film was hit... HR- Kat kiss clicked with masses... and many other things 😉
But freindship can only go that far... he said flat NO to DDD to Akhtars.. enough is enough.
