THE KHURANAS
Savitri Khurana
Always dresses in white or off white saris. Wears only pearl jewellery. Very elegant, smart, sensible, strict, loving, and funny (when need be). Keeps her family together. A no-nonsense person.
Dev Khurana & Naintara (Saxena) Khurana
A married couple, very much in love. Dev, in spite of being the eldest Khurana, is usually playful and jovial. Naintara completes him in every way. She is a lot more prudent and makes wise decisions even on her husband's behalf.
MSK
Maan Singh Khurana was dyslexic as a child. The constant teasing and bullying in his childhood made him an angry, quiet and extremely hardworking person. He completely overcame his disability, but continued to grow angrier, quieter, and more hardworking with every passing day. He hates women. He's a man of few words, or even none at all. He has a smile that one would kill for, but no one outside his family has seen it (yet). His family members themselves hardly get to see him smiling. His angry stares can burn one alive. He loves white, black and dark colours. He hates all women outside of his family. He is India's best Architect and an extremely successful businessman. He is the CEO of Khurana Constructions (KC).
Anwesha Khurana
Dev's pampered, baby sister. She's spoilt at home, but brought up with the best manners. To the outside world she is a quiet and no-nonsense person. She secretly adores Arjun whose theories she has been studying as part of her PG dissertation.

THE RAIZADAS
Devyani Raizada
She's very similar to her older sister, Savitri, whom she respectfully calls "jiji". Dresses mostly in pastel coloured saris. Wears light jewellery. Very elegant, smart, sensible, strict, loving, and sometimes, really funny. Keeps her family together. Loves spending a lot of time in prayer and rituals.
Anjali (Raizada) Jha
She used to work as a lawyer and was very cheerful until her husband's demise. Ever since, she spends most of her time in prayer. She does not complain, and tries to keep people around her happy. She's the most loved and respected of the seven cousins. Dev Khurana and Anjali, being of the same age, grew up like twins. They know everything about one another.
Aakash Raizada
A quiet and shy person. He shares Arnav's taste in fashion, but prefers a less glamorous job. Hence, he teaches. He is Khushi's professor of Fashion Engineering.
ASR
Arnav Singh Raizada is angry, quiet, and hardworking. He's a man of few or no words. His stares and smiles can kill, though he mostly only uses the stare. He keeps away from women because he finds them silly, but loves the women in his family. He loves blacks, dark and lighter masculine colours. MSK and ASR are more like identical twins with minute differences, and are best buddies. Arnav pursued his Bachelors and Masters from Harvard University. Speaks English with an American accent. Arnav is the unbeatable best when it comes to India's fashion and style, and is a very successful businessman. His company deals with every aspect of fashion, be it clothing, accessories, home decor, etc. He is the CEO of AR Designs (ARD).
NK Raizada
Nandkishore (NK) is nothing like his twin brother - Arnav. He is full of words and noise. He keeps the spirit of the Raizada and Khurana households perpetually high with his warm and chattering presence. He tries to converse in Hindi but fails miserably every time, thanks to his Australian upbringing. He loves colours, loves people, and loves Nupur.

THE GUPTAS
Shashi Gupta
A small time entrepreneur. He is a man of ethics and principles and loves his family to bits. He is open minded about bringing up his daughters and nieces to be independent, powerful women-of-today. He does not pay heed to social norms about restricting middle class girls' education or career.
Garima Gupta
Shashi's ever adorable wife. A loving mother to her and her sister-in-law's children, without bias or discrimination.
Payal Gupta
She is the quietest and the most sensible among the Gupta-Handa sisters. Yet, she appreciates and enjoys good humour. She works as a fashion analyst for AR Designs.
Riddhima Gupta
She became a pediatrician only because she loves children, and of course biology. She is the only doctor in the family, and hates her boss - Armaan Mallik.
Khushi Gupta
She is full-of-life. Has curly hair and loves bright colours. She is very talkative and everyone (except a certain someone) adores her. She is pursuing her B.E. in Fashion Engineering and respects her professor - Aakash - a great deal.

THE HANDAS
Rano Handa
Shashi Gupta's sister, moved into her brother's home with her little children, when her husband died. She's always worried about her "jhalli" daughter, because she's the youngest of the Gupta-Handa siblings.
Arjun Handa
Arjun is a researcher in English and Indian Literature. He has written many books and is always travelling around for conferences and paper presentations. He loves his sisters madly, especially the youngest two - Khushi & Geet.
Geet
Geet is her favourite sister - Khushi's - near mirror image. She is full-of-life. Has curly hair and loves bright colours. She is very talkative and everyone (except a certain someone) adores her. She is pursuing her B.Arch. The only major difference in the two sisters being their passions and their surnames.

Prithvi Saxena
Naintara's brother, Prithvi, runs the successful agency that provides security to India's cabinet ministry. He loved his wife Damini, and can't seem to know how to live without her, even three years after her fateful death.

Prithvi and Damini's 6 year old son. For some reason, he is usually silent.

Arman Mallik
CEO and Doctor at Sanjeevani - a pediatrics' hospital. He hates children, but loves women. He is as efficient as he is a charmer.
Nupur Mallik
Arman's sister - Nupur is always bubbling with life. She's very similar to NK, Khushi and Geet, overflowing with life. Payal and she are colleagues and they share a cabin. Their job profiles are such that they work as a team. She is a fashion designer with AR Designs.
Gunjan Mallik
Unlike Armaan and Nupur, she is quiet, never complains, hardly opines and keeps completely to herself. She often has haunting nightmares and cries herself to sleep every other night.

Aman Mathur
Aman heads and manages ARD's Finance and Marketing for Asia and North America. He is very confident and efficient. He met his wife (who works for KC) while on a joint KC-ARD venture.
Lavanya Mathur
Lavanya dons many hats. She is Aman's wife. Adi's sister-in-law at home, and colleague at KC. She's a very loving person, and highly independent.
Aditya Mathur
Adi - Aman's younger brother by 3 years - heads and manages KC Asia and Europe's Finance & Marketing. He is very efficient and usually confident. But TWO people can render him speechless and stuttering; his boss - MSK, and Personal Assistant and crush - Pinky.
