I think he was right there was nothing amazing about UPMAs performance, and has every right to take a stand on his judgement.

Agree with you. Even in the last episode when Remo was there, he and Marzi have 8 to them and Chetan gave them a 9. In the earlier episodes he was a little unfair but as of now I think he is pretty neutral toward all the contestants.
