Hi, Nazia.

I will take Aneek or Raja in the list in stead of Sumedha.

Anik a big possibility in place of Sumedha but no Raja. In my opinion he does not have a purposeful voice. But you can surely put him in place of Sumedha. At least it seems we agree on the first 4 choices. I was thinking of Anik but I am kind of tired of his antics and his Gurus constant hyping about how much effort he puts in evey song.

I think the contestant this time around are better than the contestants of srgmp challenge 2005. hemachadra and nihira(no one like her) were my fav singer in 2005 challenge. I am attaching some videos so that we can compare the performances of the contestants from 2005 to the current challenge contestants.
My comparison (i feel most of these songs are sung better by the contestants of challenge 2007, but u can listen to them by clicking on the song and decide for urself! however, there is no one like nihira):

amanat parda hai
vinit- parda hai
vinit-sandese ate hai
aneek- sandese ate hai
vinit-yeh dil
junaid-yeh dil
hemachandra-maa tujhe salaam
raja- maa tujhe salaam
hemachandra-tanhayee
junaid-tanhayee
vinit-Gustakh Dil
junaid-gustakh dil
Himani-Sabki baaratein aayi
poonam-sabki baaratein ayi
vinit- Jeene ke hai
harpreet-jeene ke hai

Aneek has sung some very difficult songs so nicely and easily, I will definitely put him above sumedha, but Nihira is the best among all of them........

sorry but I feel Himani is a better singer than Poonam. Himani's rendition of sabki barateiyn aye was more soulful, poonam was just powerful but himani made me cry (I watched the videos of the performances). Poonam has a powerful voice and can be the next Jaspinder Narula.
Yes Aneek is a better singer than vinit. His rendition of the song from Border was superb and he sang the song from Main Hoon Na very well.
Amanat has a very soulful voice and is anyday better than Debojit.
Hemachandra diction has a south indian accent who comes out quiet prominently. Nothing wrong with that, just pointing it out.
Nihira has a fantastic voice. No one has matched Nihira to date. Her rendition of the song from Bunty and Babli was good as so was her Hare Rama Hare Krshna.

Winning Sa Re Ga Ma is only the begining of a long journey and from what we can see from the previous years, you don't have to win to be sucessful. Nihira has done playback singing with Shaan. Himani is hosting Antakshiri. Aishwarya and Ujjani have their own album out. The important thing is to make an impact. And of course, the mentors help a lot in paving an opening into the door of the future.

Maybe i am biased because himani is my favorite srgmp contestant😊

This is what I feel:

Nihira - best among all

Among females:-
Best voice - Nihira closely followed by Sumedha
Most soulful singer - Himani (Poonam is way behind)
Most suitable for playback singing - Nihira
Best semi-classical singer - Nihira

Among males:-
Best voice - Difficult to choose between Hemachandra or Amanat
Most soulful singer among male - Raja
Most suitable for playback singing - Aneek, Hemachandra
Best semi-classical singer - Amanat
