It is really intriguing tht her dad does not leave a suicide note for his loving family as a last mean to convey his feelings, guilt, apology and instead chose Kabir for the same. I think he might have tried to convey a different msg to Kabir. May b he wanted him to unearth the truth, but may b some clue might have lost!
I strongly feel tht he is not dead and tht thrs bigger conspiracy behind this scandal. Though I don't think Kabir knows more than what he has already told Ananya but I think he strongly believes it to be true from whatever proof and clues he has gathered, considering he was last man to be in contact with her dad, knew his mental afflictions, and had first hand experience of the pressure her dad went thru, his emotional helpless condition and the overpowering guilt!
I think Kabir wud try to get some more clues for sake of Ananya and thn thy can get a breakthrough. Coz I feel Ananya's cudnt have died without contacting his family and conveying his apologies in some way! Kashyap's seemed to b a closely knit emotional family! Its hard to believe tht her dad just jumped off the cliff like tht!
Also where was Ananya thn? Ws she too young or was she in hostel? Did her mother not know abt the ongoing investigation of the case as a suicide? How come Ananya doesn't know tht? Didn't she bother to look into the official report?
Also I believe the wallet was with police as a proof all these years and when the case closed, Kabir claimed it back from Khurana as a favour wen her mother didn't!
I think Ananya wud find some consolation in the fact tht Kabir was there with her dad in those last days and he was the last person her dad communicated in his last moments!😳
