pls don't get hurt but I think Ashoka is a more glorious name of Indian History than Prithviraj chouhan....dont think about the PRC serial but about what history says......Prithvi was no doubt a great king & a great lover but he did some common man mistake…..A king whose first responsibility was to protect his kingdom lost himself in his personal life….Love makes a man more powerful & more responsible may be in case of Prithvi if he was given some more time in his life he could prove himself again but he was destined for the tragedy……..In case of ashoka he transformed himself from a cruel killer to a saint by learning from his own mistakes…….his life is a piece of lesson to all human being……..again I must say it is destiny which gave ashoka more time to learn to rectify & finally to reach the limit where no Indian administrator have ever reached……..Ashoka was the ruler of almost the whole north east India…….His time is called the golden period on ancient India……The difference between Ashoka & Prithvi is only their fate……..both of them are the greatest in their time & situation….

Regarding ashoka's love life please don't follow the movie Asoka………But he was married with a Buddhist girl whose name was kumar devi…...

i completely agree with you. 👏 We can't compare two important characters in history but yes I will go with Ashoka. Although he killed thousands of innocent people and his near abt 100 cousins to become the king of Magadha, he reformed later and spread the message of Buddhism in India and abraod. Ashoka was more human. He learned from his mistakes and rectified them. life is not abt how many mistakes u commit but what u learn frm ur mistakes.

PRC was equally good acc. to the serial at least. he was a perfect man frm the serial POV. i have doubts abt the reality.

I'd want to be Asoka...........coz PRC did not have any title associated wid his name....while Asoka was.....well Asoka the great 👏 .However I like guys who r so much in luv....so that part I'd like to take from PRC 😉

hey lime Ice Ashoka had 3 or 4 wives but it is said that in his early age he fell in love with a fisher woman of kalinga.......
