PART 4
Swayam was sitting there on the window seat of his flight waiting for it to take off... he started outside at the long stretch of runway completely zoned out in his thought...
The very few moments he had to spend with taani in his office , he had over heard some of her conversations with Sharon and his mom over phone and came to conclusion that Sharon along with Aru was coming to india with them...his mom has forced Sharon to come back... He knew taani would come in the same flight and expected Sharon and aru to be here too but he was also sure that neither of them would be sitting with him...
He kept staring at the horizon when suddenly he felt someone crawling on his lap...
"buddy... Help me up naaah..." she frowned at swayam with an angry glare... Swayam immediately grinned at her and picked her up settling her comfortably on his lap...
"mai bohut happy hoon... mai india jaungi apke saath... ab hum sab saath rehenge and hum dono bohut sara ice cream khayenge..." She stretched her small hands in the air...
"off course chocopie... your wish is my command..." He faked a scared face as aru started giggling at his expressions...
"aru come here..." Both aru and swayam looked at their side to find Sharon standing there...
"nahi mumma... mai yahi baithungi... with buddy... its fun with him..." she pouted...
"aru I said come here right now..." Sharon said with a serious glare stressing on each of her words...
Swayam looked away... he knew this was coming someday... taani stood at a distance looking at both swayam and Sharon... she knew what Sharon was doing was absolutely right since aru should not have any bonding with swayam... but since some days she was feeling guilty seeing swayam like that... she was questioning her own judgement .. then the next moment she convinced herself that she should support Sharon because she needs her...
"nahi..." Aru also looked away with a determination... Swayam knew Sharon would now scold aru here so he thought he better make aru understand... he slowly smiled at aru ...
"abhi jao mumma ke paas... hum baad mein fun karenge..." He put her down on the floor and Sharon immediately pulled aru towards herself.. swayam felt his heart break with sharon's each action...
"nahi mumma... nahi jana hai mujhe.. I want to stay with buddy..." aru cried out loudly as Sharon dragged her away from swayam as all the surrounding eyes looked at her... swayam couldn't see that and looked out of the window as taani rushed towards aru to help Sharon...
"aru.. buddy ke paas seat nahi hai... hum abhi yaha baith te hai... and we'll have fun..." she made her sit beside her wiped her tears... then taani looked at Sharon to find her eyes closed...
"Sharon..calm down ...sab thik ho jayega..." taani held her hands to reassure her..
"taani isi baat ki daar thi mujhe.. aru swayam se attached ho rahi hai... and this is not good..." She said as tears moved down her cheeks...

Taani , Sharon and aru came home in a different car as usual... swayam didn't expect anything different... As soon as swayam's mom opened the door , she engulfed Sharon in a hug crying her heart out...
"yaad nahi ayi na tujhe meri??? Mai kuch nahi lagti hoon teri???" they shared their tears , meeting after years...
She took aru in her arms showering her with loads of love and pampering as she was her only grandchild...
"chalo upar chalte hai.. ab to bohut masti karenge..." Taani took everyone upstairs...
After an hour swayam rang the bell and kaka opened the door... he looked at an exhausted swayam who smiled at him... kaka was the only person in this house who looked properly at him , took care of him...
"beta ... tu thik hai na????" kaka asked with tears in his eyes... swayam gave him an exhausted smile... he really was tired with his life...
"haa kaka... thik hoon..." he sighed and moved upstairs to his room... he closed his eyes and couldn't control his tears any more... he slid down along the door and put his head into his knees letting out the tears accumulated for years to flow out at last...
"swayam... swayam... kab se mai bole ja raha hoon and tu kaha kho gaya???" rey shook him violently after getting no response from him for the umpteenth time...
"huh???" swayam gave him a blank look... rey closed the file in irritation and sighed...
"kya kar raha hai tu ye???? Tujhe farak par raha hai maan kyun nahi leta..." Rey told him in irritation... after Sharon came to know about their bet she had stopped talking to swayam and all the guys in their team.. she did all the works with them , practiced dance , went to the competitions but ignored them as if they didn't existed for them... and that bothered swayam...
"haa par raha hai farak... par mai kya karu???" swayam snapped back in anger at rey...
"ja baat kar usse... mafi mang.. I'm sure wo maaf kar degi.." rey knew that is not going to happen.. he know Sharon too well and she has not forgiven him also let alone swayam...
"haa ... as if maine koshish nahi kiya... since the past 1 month mai haar tarike se usse mafi mangne ka koshiish ki.. but she behaves as if I don't exist... Mai uske peeche peeche har jagah jata hoon... college , ghar , tuitions , bus stop , auto stand sab jagah but she doesn't even look at me.. wo kuch reaction hi nahi deti..." he threw away the books from his hands in frustration...
"tu kyun kar raha hai ye?? Sirf mafi magne ke liye ya fir????" rey asked him...
"ya fir kya????" swayam knew what rey meant but pretended to be ignorant... he didn't want to acknowledge what was happening to him...
"fir tu usse pya..." before rey could finish swayam stood up...
"mujhe kaam hai... I'll meet you later..." and he rushed out to the terrace to cool his mind...
He opened the door of the terrace and felt his heart sink... Sharon was standing there along with a guy from their class... he was holding her hand...
"Sharon I know weird hai.. but hum dono ko ek chance deke dekho.. I promise... I promise I'll never let you cry... ever... I love you..." Swayam gulped as he heard him say this to Sharon... he didn't have the courage to stand there and listen to sharon's reply... his feet and body was already giving away.. and in that one moment of anticipation he realized that he was too shallow till date not to acknowledge this simple fact that he loves her... with all his heart...
He struggled to keep breathing and immediately truned around to leave but instead banged into the door making a loud noise... He immediately looked back to find sharona nd that guy staring at him... for the first time he let Sharon see his tears... he let Sharon see that this swayam could be vulnerable as well... he closed his eyes for a second and rushed down...
He sat there on the stairs of the fire escape trying to calm his breath... this was the same place where he had broken everything with his own hands...
He felt someone open the door and looked around to find Sharon standing there shocked to see him there..as soon as she saw him there she turned around to leave but swayam was fast enough with his reflex...
He quickly held her hands and pinned her to the wall...
"swayam haath choro varna mai chillaungi..." Sharon warned him...
"Sharon one second.. ek baar mujhe sun lo... look I know ab mai jo bhi bolunga wo tumhe viswas nahi hoga... but I seriously mean this now Sharon.. I am sorry.. I am so very sorry for doing that... but ye bhi such hai... I know tum mujhe trust nahi karoge but I really love you..." As soon as he finished he felt a stinging pain on his left cheek.. Sharon had slapped him hard..
"galti se bhi mat bolna ye... you are so right.. mai tumpe to bharoasa karti hi nahi and pata ahi kya??? Tumne aisa kuch kiya... jisse ek larki ka sare larko par se bharosa uth gaya hai... wo larka jo shayad sach mein mujhse pyaar karta hai... sach mein mujhe kush rakhega.. mere emotions ke saath nahi khelega... par I couldn't trust him.. courtesy you...i couldn't give him any chance..." She pointed at him accusingly and left from there without even looking at him for the last time ... swayam stood there looking at her retreating figure outside the door with tears in his eyes...
Swayam's reverie was broken as he felt someone bang softly on the door.. he quickly got up from the floor and wiped his eyes and then opened the door to find aru standing there with a smile... he smiled as aru slowly moved inside and with great difficulty climbed over the bed and settled herself comfortably...
"buddy... bahar chalte hai... mujhe ice cream hani hai..." she pouted and swayam chcuckled.. this girl knows nothing except ice cream...
"fine chalte hai..." he came forward and picked her up in his arms.. as soon as they came out of the room , he came face to face with his mom... his mom smiled at aru...
"kaha ja rahe hai gudiya???" she asked...
"buddy ke saath ice cream khane..." Aru kissed swayam's cheeks...
"par abhi abhi tum sab aye ho.. so abhi no ice cream.. pehele thoda rest kar lete hai.. fir you can go for ice cream..." After hearing what his mom told aru , swayam kept aru on the floor much to her dislike and then gestured her to go inside and take rest... After aru went inside sharon's room his mom looked at him...
"aru bacchi hai.. wo nahi samajhti par I really hope you stay away from her... mai nahi chahti use bhi Sharon ki tarah rona pare..." With that his mom went away... swayam stood there and fisted his palm trying hard not to break down...

It was early in the morning when swayam woke up... since the past 4 yrs he hardly slept at night... he used to come home after everyone went to sleep and woke up and left before other's assembled downstairs for breakfast...
He stood up and wore his sleepers and slowly moved out of his room .. no one has woken up and he slowly stood outside sharon's room.. he couldn't hold himself back from checking whether the door was open... he gave the door a slight push to find it open... he peeped in and found Sharon and aru sleeping on the bed... He slowly walked in with unsure steps... He went to aru's side and smiled seeing her pout while seeing... he caressed her cheeks and kissed her forehead... he then looked over at Sharon... a fringe of hair was falling on her face.. as an instinct he moved his hands forward to remove that... but he held it back..
He was startled sseing someone touch his shoulder from behind.. he looked back to find taani standing there... Before he could understand what was happening taani held his hands and pulled him to his room...
"kya kar rahe the aap waha??? Kal suna nahi mom ne kya kaha... just stay away from aru..." Taani screamed at him.. with each passing second he felt his patience giving up... And finally the straw snapped...
"tujhe kaisa lagega??? Agar achanak tujhe doctor bole that you will die soon..." Swayam asked her calmly... taani was taken aback but swayam continued...
"tu dark e jeena start kar degi.. you will miss some days from your life living like that.. and fir wo doctor firse tujhe bole that he was just kidding??? Kaisa lagega????" he asked...
"matlab kya hai???" taani asked in irritation...
"matlab tab jaise tujhe wo din koi lauta nahi payega.. waise hi lauta payegi tu mujhe?? Ya fir koi mujhe... wo 3 saal jab maine aru se dur raha.. can someone give me those time back to me????" swayam shouted back at her for the first time in four years...
"aap aise bol rahe ho jaise hum sab ki galati hai... aapki galati hai ye... to saaza kise milegi?? Apko..." taani pointed at him accusingly...
"haa right mil rahi hai saza.. par u know what ?? zaruri nahi saza use mile jo galat ho.. saza bas use hi milti hai jise sab log galat soche..." Swayam said calmly and moved inside the washroom and banged the door hard...
For the first time taani found swayam's outburst... for the first time in these four years he fought for himself or rather for aru...
Taani in a trance walked out of the room and went to hers as Sharon stood there leaning on the wall outside questioning her judgement again after listening to what swayam said...
NOTE : WE KNOW YOU PEOPLE WANTED MORE OF SWARON.. BUT WELL , WE SORRY IF YOUR EXPECTATIONS ARE NOT MET...
