Incase anyone remembers- Anmol Jaswal, the runner up, whose sister had come along with him but could not make it to top 12

I guess it's his sister in the new promo?

She's probably worked on her voice notes and stuff, she sounds better now 👏

Yeah I saw the promo! She is Vidhi jaswal only...she sung "O rangrez " so beautifully..hope she gets selected..

Many make to it stage round with good comments but they don't get selected in top 15. I hope Vidhi makes it to top 15.

I haven't seen the promo, but she was in today's episode and she sang really well. Last season, I loved Anmol, and I really want Vidhi to become a finalist as well--if not a winner.

I really hope this year's IIJ is just as great as the previous one. Though I was rooting for Anmol, I was happy with either of the 4 finalists winning the season. Such was the talent in all those kids. And I hope this year is just the same.

I am pretty sure that she is selected in top 12 from the press confrence videos of IIJ and ABCD 2.

Somehow I felt uncomfortable watching her segment.. She is talented and all but somehow I felt that she is in II to prove a point and outdo her brother by winning.. She is creating too much pressure for herself..

Really? I didn't feel it that way. I just googled her and she has been in a Punjab's singing reality show and seems like she has done a quite bit of stage performances. If her goal is to prove herself then she has already done so.

Maybe you felt that because her personality is different than Anmol's, or maybe you are right and there is siblings rivalry. Whatever it is, she has worked hard and it shows in her singing from the little I have heard in the episode and press conference, and Anmol seems to be a very supportive older brother.

I vividly remember her from last season and that duet song was good, but I felt due to her partner, she didn't make it. And she seemed genuinely happy for her brother during the results time. Also, she wasn't as confident in the previous season with that duet round because she had mentioned in the AV that she is always used to singing with her brother and was nervous to sing with someone else. This year she seems more confident, and she wants to be a finalist and a winner probably because according to her, Anmol deserved to win; now, she wants to bring the trophy home.

I am sorry if I have offended you in any way. That was never my intention. I do realize that I am being biased to her for two reasons, 1) she didn't make it in the previous season and 2) she is Anmol's sister. In fact, as I watch this season, I feel like I am biased to other IIJ contestants who didn't make it in last season as well after the Mumbai rounds, like Ronita and Vasundra.

^ No offence taken and none was meant either.. She is clearly a good singer.. I don't remember any of the others who are trying again other than her and of course she was much younger then..

Since she seems so involved in singing, I am sure we will see her 3-4 years later in adult versions of these shows to get a chance in the industry.. Saw one of the guys from Chhote Ustaad on The Voice and Rose from the same show on Pakistan Idol and am sure we will see more of these kids soon..

Yes, Rishab. I thought I saw him somewhere. Sanjana from Lil Champs is there also. I remember her face and voice as it is very different. Honestly, I prefer kid version of these music shows as there is unnecessary drama and mindless comedy in adult versions. But I would love to see her in adult version of a minimal drama type of singing reality show.

So far, IIJ is my favorite of the singing reality shows. Loved it last year from judges to contestants to the song selections.Hope it remains on top again.

Btw, I don't know if you know this but Anmol was also in Lil champs when he was really young. Saw a video YT.
