Can SLB make a modern film without curtains and havelis?

I don't understand why this guy is so obsessed with curtains and fabrics. All his films are basically a showcase of curtains, designer lehengas or gowns, ornaments and some designed pillars.

In Ram Leela all artists incl. junior artists wore designer lehengas.

Even his 'poor' Paro in Devdas lives in glass haveli.

Wasn't Ash pulling a curtain in the first scene of the film ? 😆

Guzaarish had no havelis as such but Hrithik's char lived in that huge mansion with huge rooms, many corridors, plants, pictures on the wall in a vintage style.

What's wrong with the curtains , obsession. ? HDDCS was a nice movie IMO and diff ppl are obsessed with different thing

like rohit shetty is obsessed with flying cars

i like his style.its different and vibrant .although he went too ott with devdaas.but khamoshi was different.
