The show starts in Hyderbad, precisely in Lucknow where Payal Gupta is getting married and her family is trying to arrange the money for the dowry. Payal's sister says that they have to talk with her fiance because she believes that he is not aware of the fact that his family asked for such an amount.

The Shashi Gupta, Payal and Khushi's father, is going to mortgage his sweet shop to get the money that the groom's family asked. Khushi and Payal can't see this happens, so Khushi managed to run from the house with the property papers and decided to go to talk with Payal's fiance, Abhishek.

On another part of Lucknow a helicopter lands and a very handsome young man comes out, he take off his sunglasses and moves toward the huge mansion named Sheesh Mahal. He had come to buy this mansion because in same way it is related to him and on the same night he is launching his new collection and using the place as the location for the fashion show. At the start of the fashion show Arnav's sister is shown, she comes to the ramp walk and he introduces her to the press, Anjali.

Khushi too came to the Sheesh Mahal to talk with Abhishek, but unfortunately she goes on the wrong side of the resort came mansion and ends up on the ramp walk of a fashion show. The gets scared and uneasy and falls on from the stage, but she never landed on the ground since a strong pair of arms caught her. And the owner of the strong arms is no one other than Arnav Singh Raizada.

She is closed in a room by Arnav, because he thinks that she came to ruin his show. Later he asks her who sent her to ruin his show and when he tries to explain herself he just not believe to her, but also badmouth her. In the interrogation moment Khushi broke his patient level and he broke the dori of her choli. Shocking and scaring her to the core. She covers her back by opening her hair and then leave from there.

When Khushi reached home she gets to know that Payal's marriage broke. Buaji and Garima are upset with her and scold her. It's from their scolding session that we came to know that Payal and Khushi are not real sisters. During the night Khushi is not able to sleep a cause of the words that Buaji and Garima said to her, so she goes in to the kitchen as starts making jalebis.

The next morning we see Arnav asking to his sister to go back to Delhi, but she is not willing, instead she wants him to go to the Dargah for the Mannat, at first he doesn't want to go, but then agrees only on one condition and that condition is that Anjali has to go back to Delhi.

At Khushi's place, Khushi is frying and eating jalebis one by one, all sad, just then her father Shashi comes and console her feeding her, he says that she done the right thing, because he should have not bellowed his head before the dowry demand. Buaji is still mad at Khushi and starts yelling at her, but Shashi defend her and not just him but their neighbours too. One of their neighbours invites Khushi to the Dargah.

Khushi and Arnav come to the Dargah, but for a long while they managed to avoid each other, of course not intentionally. Arnav accidently drop his Mannat ki Chabi and Khushi founds it and thinking that he lost it, she calls him from behind and the two come face to face again. He says her to throw it and walks off. She reaches him and tries to reason it him, but it ended up in a fight and Arnav calling someone and ordering to air the videos of the fashion show.

At Gupta house Payal is sad and Khushi tries to cheer her up, when suddenly Payal asks her what happened to the dori of her blouse and Khushi first hesitated, but then she told her sister everything, everything on Arnav and what happened at the Sheesh Mahal.

Khushi is out with Garima, she starts feeling uncomfortable realizing that all are looking at her, she wonder what happened to her to make all watch at her, just then she pass by an electronic shop and sees herself on the TV and gets shocked and after hearing how low people were talking about her she runs from there.

Khushi and Garima are trying to go home as soon as possible when some goons start following them and misbehaving with them. Shashi tries to defend his wife and daughter, but he is throw away by the goons and when Garima and Khushi tried to go toward Shashi their path is blocked by the goons and when it seems all is lost, someone enter the scene and start beating the goons.

The man saved Shashi and his family from the goons and then left from there, but we can see the lusty look that he passed to Khushi before leaving. When they reach home Buaji create a huge scene and pass harsh comments to Khushi. Then Garima decide that Payal and Khushi will move to Delhi, Khushi requested Garima that she doesn't want to go, but she said that she made her decision.

At Delhi Anjali has come to Arnav's office and she asked him about what he did and what he will says to their family and he replies saying that he doesn't care and that she will handle them. In Lucknow we see Khushi unhappy and is wondering on who may have passed the footage to the media. So she decides to discover it by herself and goes to the channel office and there she comes to know that the footages were provided by Arnav Singh Raizada only.

Four years ago, a journey of love and hate had started which just not contained these two elements. It was an opportunity for entire India and many people abroad to drown in a world of fun and romance.
