The Apartment
Marshall Eriksen and Lily Aldrin are seen decorating the apartment. For a change, the gang(minus Ted) decided to have Ted's "surprise" party inside the apartment instead of the terrace. Streamers and balloons are all over the place.
Enter Robin Scherbatsky.
Robin: Did you guys watch my show today? I wished Ted on TV.
Lily and Marshall: *after looking at each other* Yeah! Yeah! Ofcourse we did.
Robin: OMG! You guys still haven't watched my show. STOP LYING.
Lily: *throws a party hat at Robin*
Now forget about that and rock this party hat, hot bod.
Robin: *slowly starts to grin* Okay.
Marshall: Can I please eat the cake already?
Meanwhile at Maclaren's..
Barney is seen trying to pick up girls with his magic tricks(the ones involving FIRE, a big NO NO for the gang). Maybe it was time for another intervention.
Ted: Barney!! Can I please go back to work?
Barney: It really must suck to be you Ted. Look at you! It's your birthday and you haven't even suited up. *Gives him an accusing look* Ted Mosby, I, Barney Stinson, your wingman, your real bro am gonna show you how to celebrate your birthday!
A few minutes later...
Barney: Laser Tag is AWESOME.*Shoots at a little kid* HAHA. Take that fella.
Ted: (giving him a Ted look) He's a kid Barney! You're terrifying him.
Manager: STINSON! You are hurting the kids over here. Heck! You've been a pain in the ass. That's it! Out of this place. NOW!
Barney: You are going to regret this. *Starts to walk away, turns back and cries*Please don't do this to me.
Manager: OUTTT!
Barney and Ted run away. Just then Barney's phone rings.
Barney: Barney Stinson. *Winks at Ted*
Lily: Barney! Where's Ted?
Barney: Sorry Lil! But Ted and I have decided to spend quality bro time together.
Ted: *screams* He's lying Lily!
Lily: Barney Stinson, if you don't get Ted here in 15 minutes, I as the Slap bet commissioner will issue 5 fresh slaps.
Barney: NOOO!
Exactly after 15 minutes...
Ted opens the door to the apartment and turns on the light.
Lily, Robin and Marshall: *together* SURPRISEEE! Happy Birthday Ted!
Yes! No one else had turned up for the party. So it was only the gang.
Ted: I know just what we should do.
A few minutes later..
The gang is seen throwing toilet papers all over the place.
Marshall: THIS IS SO MUCH FUN. Let's make a game out of it. "DODGE THE TOILET PAPER".
A few hours of fun later..
Back at the Apartment
Marshall: Welcome to the Special Ted's Birthday Game Night! A game of "Never Have I ever" .
Rules are:
The first player must say something he/she has never done. All players who have done that "something" must take a shot.
Robin: Let me start! Never have I ever made a sex tape.
*Everyone throws a look at Barney*
Barney takes a shot.
Barney: Never have I ever ever ever (starts to laugh) had an ex whose husband made a movie with a character "GED MOSLY".
The entire GANG(minus Ted) start to laugh while Ted takes a shot.
Robin: Noz can dozville baby doll.(laughs harder)
Ted: Never have I ever seen a cocamouse.
It was Lily, Marshall and Robin's turn to take a shot.
Lily: Believe us or not, we did see one.
Robin: And it flew...
Marshall: That beast.
Lily: Okay! My turn. Never have I ever...
And so went the game of "Never have I ever". It was an incredible birthday for Ted and he couldn't have wished for more. He finally realised that it was all for good that no one else showed up. He got to spend his best birthday ever with his four best friends in the whole world.
