When light is suddenly distinguished from around you, it feels like you have been plunged into an abyss. Your sight is paralysed, the only thing you're sure of is the ground beneath your feet. You open your eyes wide, desperate for some light to shine to show you bearings of where you are in the scheme of things...
Just like the darkness, you slowly adapt to the dark. you find yourself seeing shades in the shadows, and then forms and shapes. Suddenly you realize you can manage... So used you are to the dark by then, that when full light returns it blinds you...
Aahil is in that dark.

He thought he had lost her, completely.
Then he found her again.
But she belonged to another. In love with another man.
She didn't remember him. At all.
Darkest of the night.
He struggled for bearing, make sense of things. Stumbled onto things and fell, limping with the pain, he walked with his hands outstretched in case he bumped into more things.
Slowly he could see in the dark.
He sees his Sanam. Sleeping.

And in her place. Jannat. An empty shell.
He can see her in the dark now. Standing on the bridge, not knowing which direction to go.
It's hard to give directions to someone, when you're in the dark yourself.. you could only indicate to them roughly where you were. And just watch her clamour in the dark to find where you were...
She can't find him. She's held someone else's hand , and is going away... She is safe, but not with him... He considers letting her go...
Then suddenly there is blinding light, stark in its bleaching intensity..
***
Aahil clutches Sanam to himself, terrified that she might leave him. Open your eyes Sanam! PLease ! I can't live without you!!
He cries in torment, and she suddenly wakes...
I love you Aahil...

Aahil is dumbfounded. Suddenly his Sanam is back, with him. He holds her tight , to his hearts content. Something he had wanted to do since the first time he saw her again in Dharamsala.. Sanam cries in his arms..
I waited for you Aahil. I waited and waited.
but you never came...
Her words claw at him, filling his heart with regret. He wished he could turn back time and be there for her this time, the time she needed him the most. He kisses her face over and over, so happy to have her back.
She passes out, and comes to again in her empty shell. Sanam had retreated into the dark sleep... Jannat opens her eyes, confused over Aahil's familiarity.
Why do you call me Sanam? I am Jannat!
Again, the dark...
***
Aahil and Jannat are lost in the jungle. Jannat lectures him for being irresponsible and scolds him for seeing Sanam everywhere, even in other people.

She scolds Aahil for not checking the car before driving it. For driving it too fast.. etc... You never finish your sentence! you've been trying to tell me something but you never finish !! Today you must tell me what that is !!
Aahil is annoyed but can't get a word through her tirade.

<SaHil haven't been this cute in forever...!!>
She just wouldn't shut up ! Even when he told her to! When there were menacing strangers staring at them.
What happens then is quite hilarious. Aahil goes all Hero and wants to take the tribesmen and Jannat gasps audibly.
"This is THEIR area. Don't try to be a hero here! If you want to get out of this jungle alive just follow them! People won't even know the Nawab disappeared in here!!"
That is classic Sanam! Pragmatic, non dramatic. She prods Aahil in to keeping his bravado and following the threatening tribesmen.

Elsewhere, Sanam2 casts her evil eye upon Shaad. She's being all touchy touchy with him , persuading him to stay back in the mansion. And she watches him dress, hanging up on Saif.. uh oh...
Further a distance, SK visits Tanveer's grave, vowing to make all her Ammi'a dreams come true as the new Begum Sahiba. And a strange man appears, Like a Mafia Boss...
She calls him "Sir"
"Sir" has his couch carried around, dresses in all white, and wears gold rings in many fingers. He warns her not to be sidetracked from her "Goal"...
Precap: Tribe leader challenges Aahil to walk over glass pieces, and Aahil runs...
