Andar ka Shor - Kabir Sharma

After spinning several theories about how and why Kabir feels the need to hide the truth from Ananya, there's something that struck me..

As Bedouin_Me rightly pointed out, Kabir's short stint at Janta Times lasted only for 3 days during which he stood up in defence of Sudhir Kashyap.

Which brings us to the fact that maybe his hard-hitting article ruffled up a few feathers, and the top brass after feeling threatened got him sacked, or Kabir probably resigned coz back then he was a replica of our dearest Ms.Kashyap - Principled, innocent, and high on adrenaline..

But what if, he never stopped digging out the truth? What if he discovered things that were hidden from the public eye to make Sudhir Kashyap the scapegoat?

That also brings us to his tragic separation from his wife, Tarini's withdrawal from the world of journalism and Kabir blaming himself for everything that went wrong in her and Anurag's lives?

Even though he wasn't the ruthless Kabir Sharma, he must have been quite a force to reckon with even in the past.. And someone felt the need to silence him..

What if it was all a deliberate attempt to put his credibility at stake as a journalist, question his relationship with Tarini - his support, and hence divert away from the main issue at hand?

What if it was a planned attack to ruin Kabir Sharma, conceal the truth and convict Sudhir Kashyap - all at once?

We obviously can guess what followed..

He probably ran out of work once he was sacked, fingers were being pointed at his professionalism, and when his failures and complexities piled up, his wifey dearest snapped, and abandoned him, without offering him a chance to clean up the mess..

Tarini was forced into hiding, and he assumed responsibility of Anurag..

Today, he is a powerful man, capable of stirring up an entire nation's emotions, and yet there is something that holds him back. Like a lingering shadow from his past..

So when he finds out that his junior, loyalist, confidante and now, friend Ms. Kashyap is the daughter of the wrongly accused man, it all comes crashing down on him..

Old, unhealed wounds are opened, the past bared, present threatened and future uncertain, what does he do?

He lies to her..

Maybe it's the guilt at not being able to prove a wrongly victimised man's innocence, and perhaps even the fact that he doesn't want loose ends tangling further when he is still struggling to tie them..

He knows how involved Ananya can get with a story, and hence he coaxes answers out of her, to know how much she knows..

It will help him chalk out his next plan of actions, that is, if he is still pursuing the case..

Whether he knows what happened to her father after he was released from jail is unclear for now, but one thing is for sure..

Kabir Sharma is the key to solving the mystery surrounding Ananya's father's case..

I do not think he is dead; because if he is, the news will shatter Ananya, her mother and her brother permanently..

They're all holding onto one tiny frail hope, and if that gets crushed, she might never be the same..

What this means for KaYa :

They're both passionate, stubborn, principled reporters.. While Ananya is the feisty, aggressive one, plunging in without a thought, Kabir keeps his calm, draws out his pawns and then goes in for the kill..

The difference may be attributed to the fact that he has probably learnt his lesson the hard way.. And he won't make the same mistakes again..

Which is also why he has always been protective of Ananya.. Coz she reminds him so much of how he was once.. But he also fears that she will make the same mistakes as him, and might end up paying a hefty price for it..

He won't let it happen.. Not to her, not to anyone..

He will try every trick in the book right from warm mentoring, to pinning to the hard walls, and downright insulting her efficiency and intelligence, just to keep her tamed, and away from danger..

One day, he will stop listening to Bahar ka shor, and make peace with the andar ka shor, the voice of his conscience that continues to mock him even today..

He will fight with all his might, with or without KKN by his side, and offer his silent, unflinching support to her..

Then there is the baggage from his previous relationship, and the guilt that he harbours in his heart.. Even if he does fall in love, it'll take him a while to accept it, and the changes it will bring along..

We now know that Ananya is the cure to it.. But she too will be put through tests to prove her loyalties and courage..

Heartbreaks are bound to happen, misunderstandings/complexities/insecurities shall rip them apart, their mutual trust - the very foundation of their relationship will be questioned time and again, and yet they will emerge victorious.. Together..

Because the tables might turn, and Ananya might just spread her wings and rise to soar with him.. The broken girl, vulnerable daughter, confused fangirl, and budbudati reporter might just realise that there is only one Raah to her Manzil - Kabir Sharma..

And in turn, Kabir might earn himself a Humraahi..

Once the demons within them are conquered, there shall be no stopping them..

Oh and if we're lucky enough, we might even get to witness that darn 0.00005^th part of an inch vanishing into thin air..

What more does a fangirl need?
