I have stopped pressuring my brain after the Shroff case fiasco! There wer so many logical possibilities yet they had to end it with a lame excuse. That aside, I think
Kabir might have have put forth some strong points which could have proved Sudhir Kashyap as innocent, but then he himself had no power to turn tables in his favor. Instead he got mercilessly tossed around in a supposedly intricate game plan that resulted in Mr. Kashyap getting convicted and Kabir in a knee deep trouble regarding his personal problems and complexities. This Sudhir Kashyap track has so many possibilities! I am in a fix as my short story revolves around it and its sudden mention in the show has put me in a dilemma.🤓
There's also a possibility that Kabir's ex-wife - Shreya's parents might be some higher ups in the journalism world, making it an easy task to silence Kabir.
We've also got this new banda Rajveer as Kabir's brother. He does seem a bit suspicious ( i am over imagining or simply the actor is bad at expressions 😆 )

I'm with you cent per cent on this theory!

Actually one of the reasons I dont think she is his mother is because we are shown that she lives at completely different house and Anurag lives at the orphanage, why would she leave her crippled son at the orphanage?
